i was taking deja somewhere really nice tonight and i'd never been more nervous. i was giving her a promise ring because i felt after two years it finally was the perfect time. our relationship was great right now, we were happy, i couldn't wait to see harry with her, and the list goes on and on. i texted her to make sure she was ready.

her saying ew to mattia made me assume that they were in another one of their little weird rough patches. deja and mattia are the most back and forth friends i've ever met. it's so weird they'll be fine and then all of a sudden there's a huge issue. that's deja's biggest flaw, she gets upset so easily which causes so much conflict because she tends to only think about how she feels in situation similar to that. i mean, we all have our flaws. i have mine. she has hers and so on. i still love her and all her imperfections but god does it get annoying sometimes. mattia's one of my best friends and them having conflict makes my life much more complicated.
i checked the time after i finished getting ready. it was just about time to go. i sprayed cologne on and walked out the front door to my car. i got into the driver's seat and put gatti by travis scott & pop smoke. an absolute banger. i started making my way to deja's. the closer i got the more and more nervous i was becoming. what if i said the wrong thing? what if i can't find a proper way to give it to her? i need to stop thinking this way but i'm just so nervous. i pulled into her driveway and took a very deep breath in and then slowly out.
