"I sense indecision in you, Ren," A deep voice boomed. Kylo knelt before the speaker, head down.

"A girl managed to sneak on to the ship. She is strong with the force. I am deciding what to do with her," The masked man explained stiffly.

"Ah. I felt a presence disturbing the peace on board..."

"Supreme Leader. What do you think should be done with the girl?"

"If she is truly as strong in the force as I sense, she must be trained. To have two, well-trained force users could be what the First Order needs to finish this idiotic war," Snoke said, almost to himself.

"I am too busy myself, to train her. But you..." He trailed off, "Ren, you lack patience. It will be your downfall if you do not learn to wait, and to control your rage. Training your own pupil could help you learn to slow down and think..."

"I will do whatever is requested of me, Supreme Leader," Kylo said, almost as if to remind the leader that he was still present in the room.

"You will train the girl. You will become an unstoppable duo, and crush anyone in your path. But you must not become attached to her this early in her training," The booming voice of Snoke commanded, "We have no idea of her feelings towards the First Order, and you. If she is not receptive of the darkness, we must be ready to dispose of her before she gives weak-minded members of the Order any ideas." Kylo's mind immediately went to General Hux, his mind so easily broached by her untrained powers.

"Yes, Supreme Leader. When will she begin training?"

"Immediately. The sooner, the better. I have a feeling the Resistance is plotting something very...shocking. If we can get ahead of them, we can crush them in a matter of minutes." Kylo nodded and bowed, as the hologram of the Supreme Leader flickered and disappeared.

Celeste shivered, slowly regaining her lost consciousness. She reached up to her ear, feeling for the tiny device she used to communicate to the other rebels. It was still there! She glanced down at her arm and saw the faint, faint scar where the tracking device was implanted! How had they not noticed? Perhaps they hadn't been looking. She hadn't been with the resistance for long at all, maybe a week or so. That was one of the main reasons she found being forced into a leadership role unfair.

She was angry at herself. How could she get captured so early in the mission? It had been less than 24 hours, she was sure. But now she had no idea where she was, or what time it was. She rubbed her arms, sitting up and curling into a small ball, the metal walls of the small, dark room offering no warmth. Was she going to be left here to starve? Was someone coming to kill her? Was she going to be kept alive, and if so, for what purpose?

Suddenly, she heard the device speaking to her.

"Celeste. You've been captured, haven't you? General Organa said she could sense your unconsciousness and now your anxiety, and there were few other explanations for that," A rebel said.

"Yes! Yes, I think I'm in a holding cell. They'll know I'm awake soon..." She said, relieved.

"Alright. Celeste, I'm sorry, but we're going to need to erase some of your memories. Just of the last week and a half, where you joined the Resistance. We can't risk your mind being read and our mission being compromised."

"Wait-what? No, then I'm just trapped here? I'll die!"

"Your memories will be 'erased' via a serum that I will release into your bloodstream, out of your tracking device. The memories will come back to you slowly, over the next 30-60 days."

"No! So I won't know what I'm doing here?"

"I'm sorry Commander Vega, the General has ordered it," The voice apologized. Celeste burned with rage, then her right, upper arm burned painfully. She cried out, then slapped her hand over her mouth. She felt herself losing consciousness yet again as her arm throbbed.

~~~~~
"Master Ren? The girl is awake, the motion sensors show that she was awake briefly about an hour ago, and she has now been awake for around 5 minutes, so we believe that she is relatively stable," A stormtrooper reported. Kylo didn't respond verbally, he just stopped in his tracks and re-directed his path to the girl's holding cell.
He stopped outside the door and felt her energy. She was tired. Stress and anxiety radiated off of her. She wasn't thinking straight, her mind was scattered. He reached out into her mind. She was a mess, in all honesty. Her memory seemed to be partially erased. She had no memory of entering the ship, or the week or so leading up to it.
Kylo pushed open the door and stood just in the frame. The girl stopped her pacing and froze, looking at him with wide eyes. Her eyes were tired, fearful, and homesick.
"Who are you?" He asked. She took a deep breath, steadying her voice.
"Celeste."
"Celeste who?"
"...Vega..."
~~~~~

A nobody. She was nobody. She was not a Skywalker, or a Palpatine, or an Organa or even a Solo. Vega. Who was that? What had her family done? Who were they? Why was she so strong in the force if she had not been trained if her family's name didn't ring any bells?
