~~~~~
The mighty Kylo Ren was lying down, in a moderate-sized pool of his own blood. His lightsaber was nowhere to be found, his clothes were ripped and torn to shreds, and, worst of all, he had a very prominent wound right below his heart. How he wasn't dead yet, Celeste didn't know, but he wasn't, and that was all that mattered.
She threw herself on the floor next to him, panic overtaking her brain.
"Kylo, Kylo are you okay? Stay with me, you're going to be fine," She asked frantically, carefully pulling the fabric around his wound away, so she could better assess the damage.
"You came," He said simply. His voice was shaky and weak. His mask was off, and his eyes were pained.
"O-of course I did!" Celeste said, eyes widening, "H-here," Seeing him like this stressed her out majorly, she was on the brink of tears. She took off her short cape and folded it, gently cradling his head as she slid it under him. She didn't know what to do. He'd surely bleed out by the time they got back to her craft, let alone the ship, and there wasn't time to get a medic down here.
"You should leave," Ren coughed painfully, "It's not safe," She shook her head and took his hand. She could feel the energy leaving him faster and faster with each passing second.
"No, I'm going to help you, I can...I can heal you! I can..." She trailed off. She had never healed a wound like this before, and if she failed...she didn't know what she would do.
"You'll kill yourself trying, Vega," Ren said simply, "It's alright," Was he trying to comfort her? She shook her head again, more agitated this time, and gently placed her hand over the hole in his chest. He winced, and she held one of his hands with her other.
She closed her eyes.
~~~~~

Ren was making peace with the fact that this was how he would die. No fight, just alone in a cell, when she arrived. Her touch made shivers run down his spine as she closed her eyes.

He felt her energy transferring into him, and he watched as his wound closed up. He switched his focus from the healing to her face. Her face was white, he could tell she was terrified of messing up. But her face was also incredibly breathtaking. Her eyelashes were damp. It made him feel...something...to know that she was so worried about him.

He hated how much he enjoyed the feel of Celeste's hand in his. He hated how pathetic he looked, lying in a pool of his own blood, so vulnerable. He hated that she had to see him like this, he knew it hurt her as well.

It was over before he knew it, Celeste removed her hands from his, slowly, and leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. The wound in his chest was much better, not completely closed, but far less urgent. Her clothes were stained with his blood, and it made his skin crawl to see her like that.

"How do you feel?" She asked, her eyes closed, still panting.

"Better," Ren said, sitting up and leaning against the wall beside her, "Thank you. For finding me. Are you alright?" He looked at her, concerned.

"Don't worry about me," She smiled.

"Don't tell me what to do," He smirked back.

"Did you just make a joke?" Celeste was flabbergasted.

"And what if I did...?" He noticed that his face was much closer to hers than it had been earlier. She seemed to notice at that same time, her face flushing. Her eyes were much duller than usual, she was exhausted. Her breathing was still heavy, but he sensed that she was pleased with herself and happy to be in his company.

She was silent, and slowly leaned in more, her eyes fluttering rapidly, then closing. Ren could feel his heartbeat speeding up immensely. He hesitated for a moment, then leaned in too.

"Ren. You're alive," A voice interrupted them. Celeste jumped back as if she had been electrically shocked.

"Don't." Kylo sounded completely sick of Hux's antics. The general stood in the doorway of the small cell, looking impatient. Ren stood, annoyed at the interruption. He bent down to get his helmet and avoided meeting Celeste's eyes. "We need to be back on the ship." He said to her, quietly.

"Did you succeed in your...negotiations?" Hux asked, sneering slightly as he noticed Ren's wound. They both knew damn well that if he had failed, Snoke might have had Ren executed, and Hux promoted.

"Let's just say that the Supreme Leader won't be disappointed," Kylo said, pulling on his mask. Celeste was hoisted up on to her feet by an invisible force.

"Wait-where's my cape-"

"Vega," Ren warned. She shut up and followed him. Why was he already being so cold to her? Her heart raced as she thought of how he had leaned in too. She was sure Kylo would be better at that than Hux had been.

And he had leaned in too...
