"Master Ren, please, just talk to me!" Celeste pleaded. They were making so much progress, together, but suddenly, the Supreme leader had given Ren a mission or something and he had emotionally cut himself off. Now they were on their way to some planet, she wasn't told where, or what the reason was, all she knew was that Kylo was going to fight someone or do something dangerous.

Kylo remained silent, turned away from her as he gathered his saber and some other various weapons.

"Please, you don't have to tell me anything, fine, just let me come with you, then!" She argued.

"You'll get hurt," He said curtly, "And I'll have my knights with me," He continued. She knew that meant, "I don't need you there," really.

"Ren-please,"

"What," He started, turning towards her, "Did you just call me?" The anger in his voice sent a shiver down her spine.

"Sorry..." She knew she had messed up and was preparing to think her last thoughts when she heard him breathing heavily. Was he trying to calm down? Really? His anger was burning off slightly, she could feel it.

~~~~~
Kylo hated himself for leaving Celeste in the dark about what he was about to do. But if she knew she'd either try to stop him or come along and frankly, he didn't know which was worse. He was instructed by the supreme leader to visit a hostile, completely anti-First Order planet and attempt to "negotiate" with the leaders of the planet, get them to turn. He knew that by negotiations, Snoke meant assassinations.
Ren knew that it wouldn't be easy. The leaders would, no doubt, have countless bodyguards. If he was to complete the mission, he would have to be in and out, or he would be killed. That's why she couldn't go. He felt bad for lying, but his knights wouldn't be with him either, it would be too great of a loss. The leaders refused to speak with anyone other than Ren himself.
He knew this might be the last time he saw Celeste, ever, and he felt terrible for leaving her when she was so upset. He didn't like having to be so distant. But he realized he was becoming too attached, and that was just a recipe for disaster, for both of them. He heard her pleading to let her go with him, to just talk to her, but he couldn't listen. He knew if he focused on her words, he'd do exactly what she said. But he couldn't.
He left silently, boarding his small craft alone, with only his thoughts and his weapons to comfort him. The coldness and loneliness of space contrasted with everything about her. He had almost forgotten what that kind of silence was like. It pressed on his ears, almost deafening. His fists clenched on the controls and he gritted his teeth. He couldn't think about her anymore, it wouldn't end well if he didn't.
Celeste paced nervously in her room. She knew there were things that Ren wasn't telling her. She could feel his own nerves as he left, and knew he was lying to her about this mission. Then, as she was busy being annoyed at him for leaving, she heard a voice.
"Vega. Why haven't you contacted us? We haven't been able to reach you, our systems have been down, but we still would have been able to receive transmissions from you," The voice was an older female. Celeste looked around, her heartbeat skyrocketing, trying to find the source of the voice.
"Who are you? Where are you?" She asked. Why was the woman's voice so familiar?
"Vega, are you alright? What is your status? It has been over a month, with no contact-" The voice sounded crackly, as if she was over a faulty electronic device, and she eventually cut out completely. Celeste suddenly remembered how she knew the voice.
It was one she had been hearing in her dreams.
~~~~~

It had been 7 hours. 7 hours since she had last seen Kylo. Not that she was counting. No contact between him and anyone was occurring. What could he be doing?

She found she could still sense his feelings, even when they were separated. In the first few hours, it was apprehension. Then for another few hours, it was feigned calmness, with inner nerves. She knew he was in at least mild danger, but was refusing to get too worried. Perhaps his craft was malfunctioning? He was sick?

But when she sensed Ren feeling unbearable pain, she allowed herself to be worried. He was feeling pain for about 3 hours when suddenly, she sensed him becoming weaker and weaker. She felt him fading. She didn't even remember leaving her room, but evidently she had demanded that a random stormtrooper take her to the planet.

Celeste had brought her own lightsaber and ignited it as she stepped off the small craft. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply. Where are you... She asked, reaching out, attempting to find Ren. Suddenly, she saw, faintly, a small, dark room. Blood covered the floor. A holding cell, maybe? She opened her eyes and sighed, running into the large, rather obnoxious palace. It was the highlight of the somewhat uninspiring planet, and she felt a strong feeling urging her to it, which is why she landed there.

"Stay here," She commanded the stormtrooper, before jogging up the stairs. She could feel Kylo fading more every second. Vega ran through the many corridors, using the force to deflect blaster shots aimed at her. She didn't remember ever learning to do that...She periodically closed her eyes and felt something pushing her in one direction or another. She followed wherever the feeling told her to go, and suddenly ended up at a heavily guarded door that said "Holding cells." Perfect.

Celeste didn't even think as the guards started shooting at her. She used her saber to deflect most of them back to whoever had shot at her and used the force to throw them away from her as well. She eventually pushed open the door, leaving behind her only a pile of injured guards. It was easy to find Kylo, when he sensed that she was near, he had sent out stronger and stronger signals for her to find him.

She arrived at his cell and inhaled shakily before she opened the door. She was afraid that what damage had been done to him would be irreversible. But he wasn't gone yet, so she pushed open the door. What she saw inside almost made her scream.
