Back in his own room, Ren was pacing. Big surprise there, huh? He hated how he couldn't stop replaying the dream he had seen. He knew he was in too deep. There was already an emotional connection from Celeste's end, and he knew that despite his efforts, he had become fond of her as well. His helmet lay discarded on the floor, in the same place it had been where he had dropped it in the dream, before stepping forward and taking her face in his hand.
He shook his head, attempting to rid himself of these thoughts. He knew he shouldn't think about her. About how her lips must have felt on his, about how her hair must have felt as he ran his hands through it. About what her touch must have felt like on his face, how fast their hearts must have been beating.
He didn't think he'd ever be able to look at Vega the same. He also didn't think he'd resist if she tried to kiss him.

Celeste sat in a chair in the corner of her room, watching the stars go by outside. She wondered if Ren had picked her room out himself. She wondered if he had specifically chosen a room with the largest windows she'd ever seen, so as to better see the stars. She fidgeted nervously with her fingernails. His reaction to seeing her dream wasn't far off from what she had expected, but disappointing nonetheless.
She was pulled out of her thoughts by a voice.
"Vega?" She whipped her head around. It was the same female voice she had heard a while ago, with no person around to attribute it to.
"Who are you?" Celeste asked, mustering up the courage to speak.
"Vega, this is General Organa. Are you injured, have you hit your head recently, where are you? What progress have you made? We haven't received any word of an attack, but is there one being planned?" The woman asked, rapid-fire. She sounded concerned. Celeste's head swarmed with these questions and more.
"Where are you?" Vega asked, deciding to ignore the questions until she knew she could trust "General Organa."
"At the base. Vega, are you alright?"
"What base?"
Silence. Celeste could hear her blooding running through her veins.
"Have you been compromised? Vega, are you really saying you still haven't remembered...?"
"Remember what?" Celeste was getting irritated with this invisible woman and her questions.
Silence again.
"Vega. If you have been compromised, we cannot risk continuing this conversation," The woman said, quietly.
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm sorry, Celeste," The woman said, and suddenly, there was rapid beeping in Celeste's left ear. She yelped and covered it with her hand as a small device fell into her palm. It was barely visible, with a tiny light that flashed blue briefly before going out.
"What the...?" She mumbled, confused. She stood from her chair, still examining the minuscule device. She figured she might as well keep it, it might be important. But where could such a tiny little thing be hidden where she wouldn't lose it? She eventually decided on folding a piece of paper into an envelope shape and putting that in the darkest corner of her closet.
All the commotion had almost made her forget why she was at the window in the first place. She had been trying to come up with an excuse as to why she'd had that dream, so she could attempt to salvage her and Kylo's relationship.
Celeste hugged herself and sat back down. She wasn't aware she was crying until she felt a tear fall off her face. She didn't exactly know why she was crying, honestly, it had been a stressful day, it could have been many things.
She only wished that Ren could have been with her to hold her while her ribs shook with silent sobs.
