The next morning...

Everyone woke up, excited for the arrival awaiting them all. Asriel.

"So, children, how eager does this make you?" Toriel asked, smiling at the thought of her oldest son coming back.

"Very!" Kris cheered.

"Yeah! I'll get to meet my brother!" Susie joined in.

"I never talked about him? You haven't seen him, ever?" Kris asked, staring at Susie and smirking.

"What? No! You never said that you had a brother!"

"I didn't?"

"Kris, Susie, this will be the first time in a while that he has come back, so I am not surprised!" Toriel laughed, "Shall we surprise him as well?"

"What do you mean?" Susie was intrigued.

"If he does not know about you being here, let's make that a special surprise!"

"What?" Kris joined.

"Why, we could make a situation out of him not knowing! Possibly, he may ask why you are here and that would be the beginning of it!" She said, looking to Susie. There was a long silence before,

"Why not!" The kids agreed.

"Wonderful! I would like this to be a warm welcome for you and Asriel!"

"Thanks." Susie smiled softly.

A couple hours later, they had it all planned out. Well, they did a long time ago, but anyways...! They were just waiting for the oldest kid (pun intended (A/N)) to arrive. Soon enough, the three heard footsteps from outside and got in position. The jingling of keys was heard, and in walked a tall, white, furry goat boy. Just as Kris and Toriel had remembered him!

"Welcome back!" Kris and Toriel shouted as they ran up to the door, wrapping the smiling goat in a hug. He returned it happily and closed his eyes.

"Hey, mom! Hi, Kris! It's great to be back!" He laughed. Soon, they all broke out of eachother's grasp and laughed. Asriel noticed a figure leaning against a wall, near the stairs. It looked like a girl, arms crossed in front of her and smiling at the sight of their little reunion.

"Uh, mom? Who's that?" He asked, motioning towards the figure. She stepped out and came up to him. He could see her better now.

"Guessin' you're Asriel? I'm Susie, good to meet ya!" She stuck out her hand and smiled, closing her eyes and tilting her head slightly to the side.

"Yeah, that's me! Nice to meet you, too!" He shook her hand and also smiled as she opened her eyes, "Are you Kris' friend?"

"You, could say that." She rubbed the back of her head and shifted her gaze away from him.

"Asriel, we have something to tell you!" Toriel replied to the question asked long ago.

"What is it?"
