Chapter 24: Return Pt. 1

Susie and Asriel were walking to the fountain that connected the world they were in, and their own, in silence. Asriel decided to break it after a while,

"So... How's it goin'?" He asked.

"Fine, you?" She responded.

"Good. Anything on your mind?" I want as much info as possible!

"Not really." Darnit! "Except..." She trailed off.

"Except, what?" Asriel was DETERMINED to know everything.

"Well, it's not bad having only half of a normal soul!" The girl smiled slightly.

"Wait, what?"

"I mean, not the painful parts, but... It's kinda cool, other than that. Sometimes even fun! It could come in handy one day. You never know!"

Wait, she actually, LIKES it?!?! No, it can't be! Is it because of me, or someone else, or does she actually feel this way? The goat thought to himself in shock, an awkward look of it on his face as he turned towards his sister. She snickered at that.

"Wait, no. You're SERIOUS?!?!"

"Well, yeah."

"Honestly, no joke?"

"Azzy, I'm serious."

"Oh..."

"..." They were silent for a short while, until,

"Then, we don't have to do this, if you don't want to."

"You sure?"

"Y-yeah!"

"... That sounds good, but..."

"What...?"

"I dunno. You all have done so much for me, and I feel like it'd all be wasted if I didn't do this. So, I guess I'm saying I'll do it..." She smiled at her older brother, who was staring back at her as calmly as possible.

"Alright! Well, then, we should be getting close, right? Atleast to the fountain?"

She laughed "Yep!"

The two continued on their way to the fountain...

Yeah, this chapters really short, I know. I forgot to write for a few days, so I thought I should atleast get this out today! Truth is, I'm kinda running out of ideas, so I'm gonna end this story off. Not for a few chapters, because I have ideas for those, but I'm gonna end it soon and then just write weird extra chapters whenever I feel like it. Sorry for anyone who really enjoyed this, but it's not done yet! I'll tell you when I post the last chapter, anything else is extra, sorry!
