Matt
"I think she's waking up" Carolina announces, and I stir out of my position on the ground. At this point, I had already gotten exhausted and sleepy. Carol had been consistent though.
"Finally" Lauren yawns, yanking me over to Jenna's side. It's way past midnight, and Lauren had become so freaked out that she'd drank alcohol. Well, that had been her excuse when she brought in five bottles of liquor.
"Carol?" Jenna calls out in a voice so shrill I barely hear it.
"What happened to you Jenn?" I'm not sure who asked the question, or who asked the question first out of Carolina, Lauren and I. Jenna lets out a short laugh, rolling on her sides.
"Would any of you believe me if I said I was attacked by a bunch of teenagers?"
"Nope"
"No"
"Definitely not"
"Well I was" she says, letting a humourless laugh escape her lips. "AND NOW MY EYES ARE GONE!!!"
"Whoa. Calm down Jennifer Moore" Lauren says, handing her a glass of water.
"We were all worried about you" she continues, flashing a smile my way "even Matt was acting all freaked out and creepy."
" You drank five bottles of alcohol " I shot back, instantly feeling like a five year old.
"I'm sure he was all freaked out and creepy" Jenna says, and I can almost taste the sarcasm in her tone.
"Stop sounding so bitter Jenn. What happened to Flora by the way?"
"She left with the car, Carol"
"Did she say where she was going?" I ask, hating to be left out of the conversation.
"Yeah. To a club"
"I gotta go" Carol announces abruptly, lifting up her petite structure and scurrying towards the door. Lauren yawns, and throws an empty bottle across the room, and we all watch as it shatters into pieces.
"That's for depriving me of my sleep, Matt" she screams, racing out the door.
"You've got one heck of a crazy friend" I say, laughing heartily
"Whatever"
"Jenna I'm really sorry" I'm not really certain what I'm apologizing for though.
"Is that what you say to all the other girls?"
"Yeah. I usually apologize when..." I cut myself shut, suddenly realizing what exactly she's implying.
"Look. Jenna, I..."
"Leave my room Matt" she says, and I know she means to leave her heart to.
