Epilogue
I can’t believe it already been five months and they’re finally going to be landing. The speaker announced the arrival of their plane. Cloud and I were already at the gate waiting.
People were getting off and then I spotted them.
“Hey over here, Dan, over here,” I was waving my hand up in the air trying to show them where we were. Damn people that have to be taller than me and me for being short still. Soon the way cleared and Dan and Tyler stood looking lost. I know how they feel, when we first arrive it was chaos. It was the feeling of not knowing what to do.
“Come on,” I grabbed Cloud’s wrist and dragged him over to where they stood looking in the opposite direction of where I was actually calling out his name.
Cloud got out of my hold and ran full speed ahead and jumped on Dan’s back almost causing him to fall face forward.
“DAN! You’re finally here,” Cloud voice rang with excitement.
“Whoa! There I just got off a long flight, C.J. I need time to adjust before we can do anything fun,” Dan replied with jetlag clearly in his voice.
“Well let’s get your stuff and you guys can finally rest in your new place you’ll be living for who knows how long you’ll be staying here,” I was excited just as I was.

“I can’t believe it’s been five months,” Dan spoke through a mouth full of spaghetti. After we picked them up from the airport, we decide it was best to let them rest and then the next day we’ll spend together, which would be today.
“Yeah I know seems like forever,” I took a sip of my drink.
“So what are we going to do for the rest of the day, since we got a late start?” Tyler asked he was sitting across from me. Cloud was beside me devouring his food like there was no tomorrow.
“Well we could take in the sites,” I got a round of grumbles, ok then, “what about going to the show? We can’t go out since Dan, C.J and I are under age. I give up,” just then my cell phone decided to go off. Playing the most ridicules ringtone ever ‘I’m too sexy’ from Right Said Fred. I’m so going to kill Luca for downloading that ringtone. Cloud was laughing because he knew who was calling and I got weird glances from Dan and Tyler.
“I got to take this,” I got up from the table and made my way to the entrance for a little bit of privacy.
“HI!” Luca scream from the other end.
“Ok Ow, stop yelling so loud I can hear you know,” for some odd reason when I’m talking or even around Luca I can act like a kid. When I was a kid I never could.
“Sorry,” he whispered, “I was just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out today.”
“I can’t I told you that the day before yesterday. I have some friends that I haven’t seen since I left home. I wish I could though.”
“Me too, I feel so bored.”
“Don’t you have class this afternoon?”
“Yeah, but it was cancelled. And now I have nothing to do. My roommate is being a total ass. He won’t let me take a turn at the Xbox.”
“You never liked the Xbox, why would you want to start playing it now?”
“It’s beside the point,” I sighed indicating his boredom.
“As much as I like this conversation about video games, I have to get back to my table I’ve been gone long enough. Hey I have an idea.”
“WHAT IS IT?” again with the yelling at least I know he’s up for what I’m going to suggest.
“How about I introduce you to my friends and maybe we can all figure out what to do tonight.”
“Yeah, yeah, me likey idea,” I chuckled at his weird saying.
“Ok we’ll meet up at the condo”
“Ok, bye.”
“Bye,” I hung up and made my way back inside to the table they were sitting at, “hey let’s get going back to the condo, there’s someone I want you to meet.” Dan and Tyler gave me yet again a strange look. But they got up anyways and we paid for our food. We walked back, since we decide to walk to the restaurant that wasn’t too far from the condo.

It took awhile to get back to the condo, knowing Luca he’s probably already there waiting. We were almost home until they finally decided to rent some movies just because we passed a place that let you rent DVD’s and blue rays. Who knew a store like this still existed, especially now that renting a movie only required a click of a button.
We neared the apartment building and Luca was already there waiting near the entrance way. He spotted me and came running full speed towards me, but stopped really close to me. Putting us nose to nose, without hesitation he kissed me. On impulse I wrapped my arms his waste and his arms were around my neck trying to bring me closer to him. His tongue swept across my bottom lip asking for entry. Before I could even allow him, someone cleared their throat.
We broke apart both panting for breath. Right I forgot they were here.
“Um...yeah this is the friend I wanted you guys to meet,” Luca nudge my ribs since he was actually shorter than me. He didn’t like it when I always say friend, since he’s actually my boyfriend. I keep forgetting that, we only started going out three months ago, “I mean my boyfriend. Luca these two here are Dan and Tyler.”
Dan and Tyler were a little shock about it, but soon recovered from it, the three of them shook hands and made small chat, while I looked on. I knew they would all get along, but I couldn’t help but feel that my heart wasn’t into this relationship I had got myself into. I question myself about all the time, will I ever love Luca like I loved Stryker. And would this friendship I have with Dan and Tyler still be the same as the friendship I had with Hopper, December, Maddie, Rayden, Archer, Codie and Keagan.
“Hey silly are you coming,” Luca waved his hand in front of me. I guess I must not have been paying attention.
“Yeah,” whatever happens in the near future I vow to myself that if I ever see Stryker I will forgive him, even if has moved on for good. I will tell him I still love him.
Like that saying words spoken out of anger are never from the heart.
