The Water (T.H)

Summer Break. The time of year people jet off to sunny, sunny places, and that was where Y/N was headed, on holiday.

One thing that she was best at was surfing, she loved it and luckily her family had a beach hut/home, y/n and her best friend, Hannah decided to head off since y/n's parents along with Hannah's had gone away to the other side of the world, so they decided to head to the other side of the world, Australia.

They had gotten there 2 days ago and now they decided to head down to the beach to catch some waves.

They ran down to the beach, y/n had her board under her arm, Hannah decided to stay on the sand for a while before heading in, leaving it to y/n to surf away, she ran into the water, paddling out far into the water before riding the huge waves that were hitting her, little did she know, that a group of people had come onto the beach and were sat watching her.

She felt a wave hit her head and she wasn't expecting it and it hut her under, Hannah had been watching her and she suddenly went under

"Y/N!" Hannah shouted as she ran towards the water looking for her friend, luckily she came up just after her board and paddled back to the shore

"I'm fine Hannah" she told her with a small laugh, making her friend laugh

"Just please be careful" Hannah told her as they walked back, y/n squose the extra water out of her ponytail before shaking her head getting rid of any extra water she couldn't get rid of.

As they were sat on the beach towel looking out onto the sea, they saw three people run towards the water with boards, one tall and broad, blonde short hair, one slightly shorter with a small curl to his hair and another, and one woman, blonde hair, she wore a simple swimming costume, the two lads wearing swimming shorts, they paddled into the water riding a couple of waves, where they had come from, 2 men were looking after what looked like 2 three year olds and one 5 year old.

They looked out onto the waves watching as they surfed the waves, the brunette fell in a couple of times, they all did,

After 40 minuets, y/n placed her hair back up into a pony tail, she had already applied the sunscreen to her arms and legs because she wore a short sleeved rash guard with a pair of water-proof shorts, she picked her board back up, Hannah following her with her own board, the pair jumped into the water and paddled out just far enough, y/n whipped her head round and watched the wave before turning to Hannah,

"You ready?" she asked

Hannah, with a smile plastered on her face, they pair paddled forward, the wave picking them up, they must have been riding for about half an hour until, y/n saw Hannah fall in and she didn't come up, so she dived under, she found her and brought her up, they returned to their boards before going again, it was now about 6pm and the sun was only just about to start to set, y/n was on the pier walking to the very top, she placed her hand around the small necklace around her neck, she had been given it by her mum when she was 14. The blue of the dolphin matched the blue that was in her surfboard,

She had reached the top, when she felt a tap on her leg, she looked down to see a small 5 year old, she bent down to her hight

"Are you okay sweetie?" she asked her softly

"N-no, i-i can't find my family" the 5 year old sniffled

"Do you know where you saw them last?" y/n asked her

"On the beach, i was walking back to my mummy and daddy when people rushed infront of me and i got pushed"

"Okay, do you want me to try and help you find them?"
