50's Diner II

All those years later...

As Sophie left the building she went straight towards the diner. Once she had finished collage she went straight to work, she now worked as a nurse/midwife, she got very good pay since she was co-head, In the diner she ordered the usual, on a Friday night she would always treat herself with the usual, a burger, fries and a soda.

Bella worked as a news journalist, and she had just finished work for the day she had ordered the same but a milkshake rather than a soda.

"How was work?" Bella asked her before taking a bite of her burger

"It was good, i delivered 4 babies, three girls and one boy" She told her, "What about you?"

"It was good, i had an interview with some of the actors from the new Disney movie that is due to come out next year"

They talked about work until they had finished their meals, but as they finished, Judy, Bill's wife, who ran the place along side his wife, she walked over to the two girls and told them something

"Down by the dance hall, our local one, we're holding another 50's night, since the last one a couple of years ago did so well, we're doing it again this year, it's just next week, please come"

"Judy i-" Sophie started

"No, your coming, I've already checked with the hospital and you've not had a day off since you started, and they said you deserve a day off, so your coming, Bella?"

"I'll be there, i have next week off anyway"

They had left just over an hour ago, the pair of them going back to their own homes, but they had no idea who would walk in once they left.

They pulled up outside the diner, they had a couple of weeks off and they wanted to go somewhere that was quite and not alot of press would follow them everywhere like usual.

"What is this place?" Chris asked

"This is the Retro Diner, last time i was here was years ago"

They walked in and Judy was at the till, she looked up to see him

"Tom?"

"Hey Judy"

She came over and hugged him

"Oh, you've grown, how are you?"

"I'm good, how's Bill?"

"He's good but still over working himself" she said almost shouting towards him

"Someone's got to cook" he said back

Judy just chuckled before leading them to a booth, it was Tom, Chris, Robert, Chris Pratt and Benedict were all sat in the booth

"This is amazing" Chris P said as he bit into the burger

"Best place in town" Judy said passing them all a soda each

Before she was about to walk away, she turned back

"Oh, Tom, i forgot to tell you, next week we're having a 50's night again, down by the local dancehall, since it did so good last time, we're doing it again, everyone's going to be there, you should come, and your mates too"

"I-"

"We'll be there" Robert said

"Good, but it is full blown 50's so, around about 40's 50's clothing, and who knows, you might see her again" Judy smiled before walking back to the counter
