"W-will this be okay?" Shai asked
"Sure" Nene said as she smiled
"Good. I-I'll just go and tell the maids to bring you fresh clothes. You can stay here as long as you want" Shai said and smiled
"Th-thank you so much" Nene said and bowed down
"Hehe you're welcome" Shai said and left the squirrel but soon she had to deal with her chihuahua mate
"You!" Himeko said as she walked over to her
"A-aaah! Wh-what do you n-need?" Shai asked as she trembled
Wh-why me?!
"Why are you always acting all shaky and nervous?" Himeko asked
"B-because I-I am?" Shai said as she chuckled nervously
"Why did you cover your eyes when you encountered them?" Himeko asked
"N-nothing" Shai said and started walking away as she left her future mate
Run! Aaaah!
"H-hey! Wait!" Himeko said. Shai was shaking and went running to her room. She shut the door and covered her ears
"Hey! Don't run!" Himeko said and started banging on the door
"Shut the hell up..." The blonde girl growled as she walked up to the chihuahua. Himeko jumped slightly but growled a little
"I just want to know why" Himeko said
"And she doesn't want to talk about it. So just shut up and leave my cousin alone" Yuzu said as her eyes glowed. Himeko trembled slightly feeling a painful aura from the werewolf. The door opened and Shai grabbed Himeko pulling her inside the room
"Ah!" Himeko exclaimed while being dragged inside
"H-hi Yuzu" Shai said as she smiled softly
"Is she bothering you?" Yuzu asked concerned
"I-it's alright" Shai said as she giggled nervously
"Are you sure? You know it's okay to tell her to fuck off" Yuzu said
"U-uh...yeah but n-no. Anyways bye" Shai said and closed the door. Her eyes twitched and looked at the chihuahua
"You know my cousin really doesn't like you..." Shai said
"Well I don't like that slut either" Himeko growled
"Stop causing problems" Shai said
"I-I'm not the one causing problems!" Himeko said. Shai jumped and pinned her ears down
"St-stop raising your voice" Shai said
"I just want to know why did you cover your eyes" Himeko said
"Because I want to..." Shai said and jumped on the king sized bed. She wagged her tail rapidly and buried her face on the pillow. Himeko looked at her and walked up to her
"Does it have something to do with your...father?" Himeko asked
"Shut up" Shai mumbled on the pillow
"Hm?" Himeko asked
"Nothing..." Shai said and sat up. She looked at her hand and released small ice flakes. Himeko only stood there feeling slightly awkward
I should try talking to her...
"U-uhm...what do you think about this alliance?" Himeko asked
"I don't know...but I wonder if this will really stop the war between us. I find this war stupid...we were dragged into this war because of the Okogis and Ahairas" Shai said
"That's...true I guess but this is our problem too since we have a close friendship with them" Himeko said and sat down on the edge of the bed
"I heard a lot about the Higashis..." Himeko said
"Heard what?" Shai asked
"Think of themselves as the best and care about beauty..." Himeko said
"Bullshit..." Shai mumbled. Himeko's ears perked up and looked over at Shai
"Do you...cover your eyes because you don't like to see blood?" Himeko asked. Shai's eyes widen and trembled slightly
"Wh-what? Hehehe n-no. That's st-stupid..." Shai said as she struggled to remain calm
Oh fuck...is she a mind reader?
"Then what's the reason to cover your eyes? Do your eyes change color or something?" Himeko asked
"I-it's really nothing..." Shai said and sat up
It's nothing...okay...
Flashback
The little werewolf pinned her ears down and clenched her fists tightly. Her hands were shaking as blood dripped from her hands and mouth
"Shai!" Kallen shouted. Shai gulped and looked at her hands as it began to freeze the blood
"M-mama..." Shai cried and trembled. Kallen wrapped her arms around her and hugged her closely
"Everything will be okay" Kallen whispered before running back to the kingdom. She ran across the freezing ice
"Shailung! Shailung!" Kallen shouted as she ran inside the castle. The old woman turned around and her eyes widen
"Shailung! Come out this instant!" His mother yelled. Shailung appeared and saw his daughter
"Shai!" Shailung said and ran up to his wife and daughter. Shai was shaking and whimpering softly
"I-I don't...like I-it. Sh-she is mean..." Shai cried as she trembled. Shai got taken to the recovery room and was placed on top of the frozen bed where she had to rest. Shai kept whimpering while resting on the ice cold bed
"Will she be okay?" Kallen asked
"Everything will be okay Kallen. Nothing bad will happen to her. I promise" Shailung said
"But...why did she start bleeding?" Kallen asked
"I-I'm not sure but she'll be okay" Shailung said
"Shailung" His mother spoke
"Y-yes mother?" Shailung asked
"Please come here" Her mother said
"I'll be back" Shailung whispered in his mate's ear softly. Kallen nodded and stayed behind with Shai. Shailung left with his mother where they could speak in private
"She has it too?" His mother asked
"I-I guess so..." Shailung said as he looked down
'I knew she was going to be affected but...I didn't think she'd get hurt from it'
"We all knew this was going to happen at some point. The Okogis possess an incredible fire strength but combining ice and fire isn't easy. Especially since you possess that strength from your father..." His mother said
"Y-yeah...I know" Shailung said
"It's best if we find out how to help before she injures herself like that again" His mother said
"I understand" Shai said
"I hope you do...if not then that beautiful girl might die from all that frost" His mother said
"Yes. I know. Don't worry mother. I will make sure Shai is safe and able to use her power" Shailung said
End Of Flashback
"Shai?" Himeko asked. Shai's eyes widen and jumped seeing the Momokino sitting right in front of her
She is sitting right in front of me?! Aaaaah! No!
"Wh-what are you d-doing?" Shai asked
"I was asking if you were okay but you didn't reply so I was worried..." Himeko said
"W-worried?" Shai asked slightly surprised
She cares...?
"N-not that I-I care okay? I was k-kinda worried. Anyways if you won't tell me then that's okay I guess but don't think this is over. I-I still want to know a little more about you..." Himeko said as she stood up
"S-so you actually care about m-me?" Shai asked
"N-no!" Himeko said and left the room slamming the door hard. Shai only giggled a little as she smiled
"That's cute. Maybe...it's okay to talk to her about this" Shai mumbled but gasped
Eh!? Cute!? Excuse me! I called her cute!?

Himeko stepped out of the room with a slight flustered face
What the hell did I say back there?! Argh! I don't care about her! No I don't! I was just being curious...
"Hey Himeko" Sen said
"Ah! Oh it's just you" Himeko said and sighed in relief
"Haha sorry if I scared you" Sen said and laughed softly. Himeko only looked down a bit as she kept thinking
"Uh...did something happen?" Sen asked
"No" Himeko said
"You sure? I mean you don't look like yourself" Sen said
"It's nothing" Himeko said
"Guess she was still annoying..." Sen said
"Not really...I mean it does bother me that she keeps shaking and trembling but...I think she is hiding something. I wonder what is it..." Himeko said and looked around
"Where are you going?" Sen asked
"Maybe I'll go out for a walk" Himeko said and stepped out of the castle. Sen followed Himeko outside and looked at her
Stop looking at her idiot. She might feel uncomfortable...
"Ah it's Eyebrows!" The red fox said
"Grrr...stop calling me that!" Himeko said as she glared at the fox. Nitski giggled and shifted back to normal
"Hehe how are you?" Nitski asked
"I was doing just fine until you decided to show up" Himeko growled
"Ouchie. You're hurting my feelings..." Nitski said as she pinned her ears down and pouted
"Don't call her names. You shouldn't disrespect the princess" Sen growled
"Whatever little kitten" Nitski said
"K-kitten?!" Sen exclaimed
"Sen please just stop. She's just messing around..." Himeko said
"Hehe yeah Sen. It's just a small joke" Nitski said and wrapped an arm around Himeko
"Get your arm off of me please" Himeko said
"Hehe so how is it with you and Shai?" Nitski asked
"Why do you care?" Himeko asked
"Jeez I'm just asking. Especially since I know a certain someone is jealous as fuck because you're marrying her tomorrow" Nitski said
"Huh? Wait someone is jealous?" Himeko asked
"Hehe yep" Nitski said and pulled away from her
"Now if you'll excuse me I'll just go and eat something" Nitski said
"Nitski!" Someone shouted as they were chasing after her
"Oops. Gotta run" Nitski said and left. The girl panted heavily and groaned
"Nitski!" The girl growled
"Uhm...hello?" Himeko said. The girl turned to look at the chihuahua and trembled
"Oh shit! You're a princess from the Aihara clan!" The girl said and bowed down
"I-it's okay. You don't need to bow" Himeko said
Although I do enjoy it...
"Anyways who are you?" Himeko asked
"H-hinria Qin" Hinria said as she smiled nervously
"What the hell happened?" Sen asked
"Oh just Nitski fucking around. Oh! I'm sorry for my foul language!" Hinria said
"It's fine besides I find her fucking annoying" Himeko said
"Hinria!" The other girl said and jumped on Hinria
"Ah hey Cyndi" Hinria said
"O-oh sorry! I didn't know you were speaking with the princess!" Cyndi said and bowed down in front of Himeko
"It's fine really" Himeko said
"I-I'm Cyndi Lauper" Cyndi said
"Nice to meet you both" Himeko said
"Hm? And you are?" Cyndi asked
"Sen Kaiser" Sen said as he smiled
"Royal Guard?" Hinria asked
"Yep! It's a pleasure to meet you" Sen said
"Hey...what the hell are you two doing?" A wolf asked
"Hey Phila. Sorry about that it was just that stupid Nitski again" Hinria said. Phila looked over at the Momokino giving her a slight glare
"Uhm...anyways we have to go" Cyndi said as she grabbed Phila and took her away
"Hahaha uhm... sorry about that. She is kinda upset" Hinria said and left with her two friends
"Uh...what the hell happened to her?" Sen asked
"I have no clue..." Himeko said
What the hell was wrong with that bitch? Why the fuck did she look at me like that?
Meanwhile Phila kept looking down and gritted her teeth
"H-hey everything will be okay" Cyndi said as she smiled at her
"Not helping..." Phila growled
"Phila can't you fucking move on?" Hinria asked which only pissed Phila even more
"Can you shut the fuck up?" Phila asked as she growled
"Jeez sorry about that..." Hinria said as she looked away
"You don't get it Hinria. How are you so fucking calm? You said you liked Shai and she will be married with that stupid chihuahua tomorrow. At least do something about it" Phila said. Hinria only trembled and looked down
"I got rejected..." Hinria whispered
"Wh-what?" Phila asked
"Why didn't you say anything?" Cyndi asked
"Because I couldn't...she said not to" Hinria said and giggled a little
"Who told you that?" Phila asked
"Sorry...but I can't say" Hinria said and walked away
"Was it Shai?" Cyndi asked
"Did she tell you not to say anything to anyone?" Phila asked. Hinria smiled and looked at her friends
"It's best not to talk about it. I don't want to talk or think about it so please...just forget it. And Phila...please don't do anything stupid. Unless you want to deal with her..." Hinria said
"Hinria...are you okay?" Cyndi asked
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me...let's just go and get something to eat like we planned to do" Hinria said and walked with her friends. Phila only looked at her slightly concerned
