Ch. 45 "Stuffed Wolf"

                                                         Elijah POV

we arrive back at the house I still have the stuffed wolf in my hand, 

"What the bloody hell is that?" Klaus said looking at me 

I smiled sadly at him, 

"I gave this to Kylie a while back," I said 

                            Flash back

Kylie was sitting on the bed after having what looked like a terrible nightmare I was sitting next to her, 

"I have something for you Kylie," I said 

"What is it?" She asked looking up at me sadly

I showed her the stuffed Wolf, 

"When ever you are feeling scare or alone for any reason just know that this wolf will always there for you even if I'm not around," I said handing her the wolf, 

"Thank you Elijah this is the best gift I've ever gotten," She said hugging me 

"Anytime Kylie now try and get some sleep," I said leaving the room, 

                                         End Flash back 

"Anyway we found where she's been staying," I said 

"And did you find her?" Klaus said 

"No she wasn't there," Rebekah said 

"So what now?" Klaus asked 

"Were just gonna have to go back when she is there," I said 

he nodded, 

With that I retreated to my room I loosened my tie, I set the wolf on the dresser a laid flat on my back on the bed, 

I looked out the window at the half moon in the sky, 

"Goodnight Kylie," I said falling asleep, 

                                        Kylie POV

I followed the smell of my stuffed wolf to the same place I escaped from, 

The door was cracked open, I used my snout to open the door I peek in the lights are out I don't see anyone, 

so I quietly walk in the house on my toes, quietly walking up the stairs following the scent of my wolf, until I hear footsteps, 

I hide in a hallway watching as Klaus walks by on the phone, 

"I know but we need to find her," Klaus said 

"Yes I will lay off if you help us," He said walking down the stairs 

I watch as he disappears, I head down the hallway I started and come to a room the door is cracked open and yet again, I open it wider with my snout it makes a squeaking noise, the person in bed moves but doesn't wake up, 

I see my wolf on the dresser out of reach I put my front paws on top of the dresser, I grabbed my stuffed wolf with mouth but ended up knocking a picture off the dresser causing  the person to jolt awake, 

"Kylie?" Elijah said 

I growled with the stuffed wolf in my mouth and trotted out of the room down the stairs, 

"Wait!" Elijah said 

"Elijah what is-" Klaus said but seen me about to leave 

I sprinted out the door with the stuffed wolf in my mouth, 

                                              Third Person POV

"What is with her and why did she come back for a bloody toy!" Klaus said confused 

"It is rather odd isn't it that she would only come back for that," Elijah said 

"I've had enough of this call the witch, Elijah Rebekah find her," Klaus said 

"What are you going to do," Rebekah said 

"Figure out what her problem is," Klaus said storming out 

Elijah and Rebekah walked through the woods until, 

Kylie landed right in front of them with the toy in her mouth, 

"Kylie listen to me, please come back with me," Elijah said 

she looked at him with sad eyes, 

                                Kylie POV

I can't I thought I went to turn around, 

"Kylie I know you're hurting but please change back so you can talk to me," Elijah said 

I whined my ears back because I was sad at how he was begging me, 

He approached me slowly putting his hand in-between my ears, petting me gently, 

"Kylie please come back to us," Elijah said 

the sadness in his eyes broke my heart,

the next thing I know is I started changing not at will though, each break worse than the next the pain was excruciating, 

I was now laying on the ground human again,

"Rebekah," Elijah said 

"On it," I heard 

I felt a blanket wrap around me, 

Elijah picked me up bridal style as I was wrapped in the blanket, 

"My wolf.." I mumbled as my hand reached 

"I got it doll," Rebekah said as she picked it up smiling 

then everything went black, 

                                 Elijah POV

As we were walking back to the house I see that Kylie fell asleep, we walked in the front door, 

Niklaus approached us, 

"You got her to change back how?" He asked 

"I don't know but she's gonna need rest," I said 

He nodded 

"Were gonna have to question her about this," He said 

"Agreed," I said 

I make my way up the room with Rebekah, 

"Rebekah do you think you could?" I said 

"Of course," She said smiling, 

I waited a few minutes, 

"Okay you can come in," Rebekah said 

I nodded walking in the room Rebekah changed her into Plaid pajama pants and a blue long sleeved shirt, 

Kylie laid on the bed the look of worry on her face as she slept, 

Rebekah left, I sat on the edge of the bed, 

"What has happened to you Kylie," I whispered
