Raiya's POV:
-Dream-
I stood in the same field as before, my doppelganger nowhere to be seen.
"Hello? Is there anyone here?"
The scene soon changed and I stood in an unknown garden, white roses everywhere.
'Where am I?' I thought, looking around.
A big mansion stood behind the garden, giving me a strange vibe. Suddenly, I started moving forward involuntarily and I looked down, noticing I was in a completely different body. This body was wearing a pink off the shoulder shirt with black bows, brown shorts, and brown boots.
'What's going on?'
'I' soon reached a gazeebo, a familiar figure standing there, observing the crescent moon.
"Subaru," I said.
He turned, giving 'me' a soft smile.
"Hi," he whispered.
I gasped mentally, seeing how much affection he was showing, how open he was. I was pulled into his embrace, the smell of dew and roses surrounding me. I unconsciously leaned into it, sighing deeply in satisfaction.
"Subaru, will you be with me forever?"
"Of course I will. That is, if you promise me the same."
I smiled up at him, touching his cheek softly.
"Of course."
He started leaning in and I freaked out mentally, screwing my eyes shut. After a few seconds, nothing happened and I opened them, seeing I was once again in the field, my twin staring back at me with a smile.
"Tell me your name! Are you the one showing me all this?"
Her hand touched my cheek, coldness coming from it.
"Do not let him fall into despair again."
-End of Dream-
I gasped, opening my eyes slowly. My head was throbbing as usual, and I felt unusually drained.
"These dreams are killing me."
I went downstairs and noticed my parents on the couch watching some sort of football game. The triplets were with them, Ayato watching the game in interest while Laito and Kanato were doing their own things. I ignored them and went to the kitchen, chugging down three glasses of water, hoping to get rid of the headache. I rubbed my temples and noticed Reiji had walked in, eyeing me suspiciously.
"What is wrong with you?"
"Nothing, I'm fine."
"You don't look fine."
I ignored him, walking out confidentially but nearly collapsed on the floor, a dizzy spell coming over me. Reiji had already seen it coming and caught my arm, holding me up.
"Come with me."
He suddenly teleported me into his guest room, a strange chemistry set on the table.
"Sit," he said, pushing me towards the bed.
I sat down on his bed, holding my head in my hands. He handed me a cup of tea and I drank it gratefully, relishing in the taste as my body instantly relaxed.
"Thank you."
I swore I saw a smirk on his face but when I looked a second later, it was gone.
"So, what happened?"
"Nothing, just...feeling a bit dizzy."
"Hmm, perhaps you're under a bit of stress."
I suddenly saw two Reiji's and my body was beginning to numb. I dropped his cup, the china shattering everywhere.
"What did you do?" I slurred, slumping against the headboard.
"Simply put some medicine to see how you would react," he said, pushing up his glasses.
"Medicine...my ass."
He took off his glove and his cold finger trail down my cheek and neck. I only glared at him, unable to move. A sadistic grin lit up his face.
"This is how a human like you should be. Quiet and below me."
He grabbed my wrist, pulling it towards his mouth. His fangs sunk in and I hissed in pain, clenching my eyes shut. The sounds of him sucking my blood filled the room.
"Your blood is of the finest quality. It almost rivals hers."
I heard the door slam open and Subaru stood there, his angry face looking angrier than usual.
"Oi, Reiji. Let go of her right now."
The glasses-wearing male collected himself, turning to look at his younger brother.
"Ah, Subaru-kun. What are you doing here?"
"Did you not hear me the first time? Let go of her."
He dropped my wrist, clicking his tongue.
"Very well, Subaru. You will be responsible for her."
The albino walked to me, easily lifting me into his arms. My head settled itself on his chest, the same rose smell from my dream filling my senses.
"Subaru..." I whispered.
"Don't talk."
I listened to his advice as he carried me to my room, pushing Seb to the side softly before settling me on the bed.
"Idiot, why would you go to his room?"
"It's not like I wanted to."
He sighed and touched my forehead softly, my eyes closing at his cold, feather-like touch. His hand soon moved to my hair, rolling the tips with his fingers. I looked into his red eyes and saw the same guilt sitting there from the first time we met. Feeling was coming back into my body and I gripped his hand softly.
"Why do you feel so guilty, Subaru?"
His eyes widened before he gripped my hand tightly, not enough to crush it. His grip was strangely warm, unlike his cold skin and eyes.
"You shouldn't be near me right now. I'm filthy and I'll destroy you if you come any closer."
He kissed the back of my hand before disappearing completely, his slightly warm kiss lingering. With a heavy heart, I sighed heavily, moving my neck to look out at the night sky. The moon was a crescent one, the same size as the one Subaru was observing in my dreams.
"What is going on with my life right now? When did it become such a mess?"
Seb meowed in response, rubbing his head against my hand. Using the little control I had in my body, I pet his head softly while softly humming, my body instantly relaxing as tiredness came over me.
"Seb, what do you think will happen to me?"
He didn't answer, already asleep. I sighed and glanced at the clock, noticing it was 10:30 in the night. I closed my eyes, dreaming the same dream I had seen last night.
