Raiya's POV:

I opened my eyes, feeling dread settle over me as the morning sun reminded me that I had school today. Subaru laid next to me, his arm under my head. I put my head on his chest and pushed his bangs behind his ear, admiring how cute he was. The sunlight hit his face and he groaned, opening his red orbs like it was the hardest thing in the world.

"Good morning, Susu."

"Morning." his rough voice said, deeper than usual.

"We better get ready for school. I'll meet you down in ten minutes."

He nodded, yawning and scratching the back of his head as he walked out of my room. I changed into a simple white off-the-shoulder top and black shorts with a pair of brown boots. I quickly brushed my teeth and fixed my hair into a ponytail with a white scrunchie. I grabbed Subaru's jacket and opened the door to my bedroom, seeing that Subaru was already waiting outside, wearing his usual ripped red shirt with his black pants. He was polishing some sort of knife and looked up when my door opened.

"You ready?"

I nodded as he put the knife in his pocket.

"So? What is that?" I asked him, grabbing his hand and intertwining our fingers as we walked down the stairs.

"A knife that kills vampires," he said bluntly.

I nodded, not pushing any further. The brothers were downstairs, waiting for us.

"Could you two be any slower? How dare you keep Oresama waiting?"

"Your ego must be bigger than your dick," I muttered, rolling my eyes.

"What did you say?!" Ayato said, glowering.

"Now, now, Ayato-kun. We all know our little Bitch-chan was joking." Laito said.

"Was I really, though?"

"Of course you were! That's beside the point though. You look so appetizing today, Bitch-chan."

"Enough, Laito. We must get to school if we do not want to be late."

Reiji led us all out of the door before stopping abruptly, making all of us slam into each other's back.

"Ow, what the fuck?" I said.

"Ah, M-Neko chan!"

I groaned and looked over everyone's shoulders to see the Mukami's standing on my doorsteps, smirks on their faces. Kou ran over to me, pulling me out of Subaru's grip and gave me a big hug, spinning around. I struggled in his hold but of course, his vampiric power easily beat me.

"It's so good to see you!"

"Let go of me, you blockhead!"

It paid to have a vampire boyfriend. Subaru pushed Kou away, taking me from him.

"Su!"

"Don't touch her," he growled.

"My hero." I smiled, kissing his cheek.

"Don't be mean, Subaru-kun~ I only want to be friends with her!"

"Friends my ass. I don't know how you guys found me but y'all are extremely creepy." I snorted.

I pulled Subaru through the little crowd in front of my house, noticing Yukiko was standing behind all of it.

"Yu! Morning!"

She seemed a bit surprised at my upbeat attitude.

"Rai, are you okay? No, you're definitely not, you must be high."
