Raiya's POV:
I punched my pillow in frustration as no one answered my shouts for the third time today. I sat in an unfamiliar large room, one that looked like it cost more than my actual house. Being in this room for the past few days hadn't been bad, they always put food next to my door but I was beginning to feel irritated that they were ignoring me. To top that, I was still worried about my mom and Subaru. I twisted my ring nervously before chewing on my thumbnail, mentally cursing the two males for taking my phone away. I heard a knock and I stood up, rushing to the door as a hand slipped my daily lunch through the door, grabbing it before the person could escape. I heard a small squeal as I tugged the person in, shutting the door quickly. I expected one of the brothers but instead of them, a girl my age with light brown hair and bright blue eyes stood in front of me, freckles decorating her cheeks. She was dressed in a maid outfit and had a nervous expression.
"You. I need you to get me out."
"I...I cannot do that. Master Shin and Master Carla will be very upset."
"I don't give one fuck about how they feel, they took me here against my will. You're gonna help me whether you like it or not."
"B-but-"
I sat down on my bed and signaled to the chair next to me. She sat in it obediently, not really sure what to do.
"What's your name?"
"Bella."
"Hmph, it suits you. Anyways, what did they command you to do when it came to me?"
"T-to bring your food up and to ignore your words."
"Bastards." I spit.
She flinched at my choice of words but didn't say anything, not wanting to disagree or agree. Her leg was bouncing as her eyes flickered from mine to the door.
"Here's the plan. You tell them that I'm threatening to kill myself and they'll come in here where I'll use this," I grabbed a vase, "to knock Carla out. I'll figure out how to deal with eyepatch here."
"How do you know that they'll care about you wanting to kill yourself?"
"Simple. They could have killed me back at my house but since they didn't, I assumed that I'm an important asset. Plus, they're feeding me and they gave me a nice room so what about this screams 'we don't need her'?"
"Fine, what makes you think that I'll do what you're asking?"
Red light glinted from the sun shining on my ring and I was instantly reminded of Subaru's eyes.
"Someone I know is already on their way for me. I'll tell him to spare your life if you help me out."
It was a stretch using Subaru as a threat, considering the fact that I didn't really know if he was coming or not but I needed to use what cards I had to my advantage. Luckily, the way her shoulders dropped told me she had taken the bait.
"Very well. But I am not doing this for my life but because of the pity I felt for the last few days."
She stood up and walked to the door, taking a deep breath.
"SHE IS TRYING TO KILL HERSELF. PLEASE, MASTERS, YOU MUST COME!"
I flinched at the loud sound but gave her a thumbs up, hiding behind the door. I heard two sets of footsteps, one calm and one hurried. I could instantly tell which belonged to which brother.
"Where is she?" Shin asked.
I held my breath, watching as Carla's figure walked in. Without hesitating, I slammed the vase on his head before moving to a surprised Shin, kneeing him in his sacred area. He groaned, falling to the floor and I ran out of the door, giving Bella a small smile. Running down the empty halls, I looked for the nearest exit. Unfortunately, there was no door nearby so my next best option was the window. Opening it slowly, I gulped audibly as I stared at the distance between the ground and me. Shaking my head, I eyed the branch of a tree and took a deep breath, preparing to jump. Before I could do it, a hand grabbed my arm stopping me. Pulling back in, I struggled against the unknown persons hold.
"Let me go, fucker!"
"Shhh." I heard a familiar voice say.
The smell of roses surrounded me and I gasped, looking at my assailant and into the red eyes that I had grown to love.
"Susu!" I squealed, gripping him tightly.
His face made its way to my neck, inhaling deeply and a slight tremor ran through him.
"I thought I lost you," he whispered.
I couldn't get a word out as I just nodded, feeling my heart overflow with emotion. We stood there for a bit before I reluctantly pulled back, grabbing his cheeks and gave him a small peck.
"As much as I would love to stay like this, we're still on enemy territory. We have to get out of here."
He nodded, grabbing my hand and leading me down the hall, probably towards the front door as he looked around for any signs of life. I saw a big door a few feet away from us, screaming exit in my mind. As we neared, two familiar figures stood in front of it. Subaru slowed down, pushing me behind him.
"You two," he growled.
"Hmph, if it isn't one of his sons?" Carla said.
"You know them, Susu?"
"Tch, they knew Yui too."
"That woman wasn't even worth the time." Shin laughed.
"You bastard."
I grabbed his clenched fist, shaking my head furiously.
"Raiya," he growled, not wanting to be held back.
"Not now Susu."
The two brothers took that chance to teleport next to us, Carla grabbing my arms in a painful grip and Shin kneeing Subaru in the stomach. The male's eyes widened as he coughed out blood.
"Subaru!"
Carla began dragging me back down the hall and Shin grabbed Subaru by the collar, following silently behind us. There was only one thought in my head at that moment.
'We're fucked.'
