"Today we had actually managed to get quite a bit done, even though you weren't there. All that paper work we had to finish from the deal we had worked out went through. We should be getting the stuff anytime later into this week, possibly the weekend the latest, but I highly doubt they will hold up an order that expensive and big" Louis said from the far side of the couch.
After Niall had stormed into the house earlier in the afternoon, all the boys had managed to find their way to Harry's place and onto the large brown couch. Niall was obviously the first to arrive, followed by Louis and Zayn, then after an hour or so, Liam had showed up solo. Once he walked in the door and I didn't see Sophia my first words had been about her absence, allowing him to explain that Sophia wasn't here because she was 'In Trouble', whatever that meant.
Once I heard that she wouldn't be coming, did the panic begin to flood my body. This was the first time I would have to deal with all five of the boys by myself. There were many times when Niall or Zayn came over individually and I could usually handle it but all five at once, Harry was already running low on beer, once all the boys left Harry would be lucky if he had one or two.
Since the moment they all arrived I had been running in and out of the kitchen and living room with beer, snacks, cigarettes, and anything else they had wanted. In the back of my head I knew I shouldn't have been letting them control me like this and tell me what to do, but I was scared to be honest. It was five boys that were more likely then not, carrying weapons with them in a house with one girl who was terrified to even pick up a knife.
If Sophia had been here with me, it would have been much easier and faster. One could have been in the living room helping them individually, which is usually her, while the other is preparing food and drinks in the kitchen, which was more comfortable for me. But now that she isn't here I really have to juggle both of the tasks while trying not to let my brain wander back to the events leading up to Niall's entrance to the house.
I thought back to the memory, I remember how close his face was and how that smirk was plastered onto his face. Why did he think that I would be okay with him acting like that? Did he think that just because he was a little sick, that it was the perfect opportunity to make me let my guard down around him out of pity because if he thought that he can take whatever his messed up thoughts can be called and take a hike.
What kept confusing me was that Harry had specifically told me the first week that I had came here that he didn't like me for anything other than this plan that he has had. And from what I can recall I am pretty sure I made the same message clear to him about my feelings towards him. With that, I do not understand why he feels the need to try to kiss me. We both don't like each other and I am pretty sure neither of us wants to kiss each other.
Then again, Harry had been sick and was acting completely different all day. He had been nice to me and was pleasant to spend some time with. He was only a little demanding, mainly just needy because of his illness but other than that he was very civil to be with other than his usual rude personality and sour mood. But for some reason, that whole idea didn't sit too well with me.
I was exhausted, I had been running around all day trying to keep up with their high demands. My feet were beginning to feel sore and my back was hurting from how much stress I had put on it in the last few hours. All I wanted to do was for all of them to leave so I could take a nice hot shower and spend the rest of my night with a nice book. I don't think I can do one more task that Harry has.
