Amidst all the shock and pain Betty had manage to record the moment her wife asked her girlfriend to get onto the stage with her and she watched the video all the way home. It hurt to relive her humiliation but felt it was necessary so as not to forget how much of a fool she has been. All those warning signs she ignored and excused them as work stress.

' So your babies are in one piece.'

' Not now Luna. Just get your sister and pack your bags. Were leaving as soon as I am done packing.'

' Where are we going?'

Betty sighed frustrated.

' Luna please do as I say. I will explain  when I'm calmer.'

' But mom?!'

' Luna for god sakes!! Can you just listen to me for once!!! '

Her youngest daughters stood outside her door scared and worried they had never seen their mother like this. Who aggressively wiped her tears mad that she was crying over Nicole.

' Lu says we should pack our bags. Where are we going and is mom coming?'

' No your mother is not coming. I really don't know where we are going as of yet.'

' So you want us to run with you and become homeless -'

' Star I never ask you for anything but this time I need you to do one fucking thing  for me. Can you just stopped behind a spoilt bitch and do as I ask.'

Betty had never spoken to her children  in this manner and she felt guilty afterwards but she was going to apologise when they were far away from this house. Star huffed walking out of her bedroom and headed into hers.  Betty hoped she had heard her as she packed enough clothes for her twins. She was going to get more after.

' Hey.... yeah I know.... listen I need a place to stay just for a week or two till I know what my next step is or I find some place else to stay...... Thank I will be there in an hour.'

Luna walked in with his largest suitcase as she hung up her phone. He asked if he could help with anything and she asked him to take the girls luggage. An angry Star walked out of her room dragging her suitcase at the same time that she walked out of her bedroom.

' I hope you have everything you need. Have you guys eaten.'

' Yeah Star cooked.'

Luna answered while Star sat next to her mother wondering why she was crying. As old as she was she could not remember seeing her mother cry and it worried her. She might give her a hard time sometimes and always favoured Nicole over her but she loved her too and it hurt. She extended her hand and squeezed the left hand, since she was using the right to drive.

' Mom are you okay?'

' Can you really be okay after finding out the only woman you've ever loved has been having an affair for three years?'

Betty wanted to say but she did not want to be blamed or have another argument with her daughter. Instead she smiled weakly and replied that she would be fine.
