At first she believed that if Betty was out of her life she would be the happiest woman alive but ever since she asked her for the divorce it had not been the case. It hurt her when she served her the divorce papers but then thought finally she could be with who she wanted to be with. The woman she loved but it was only good for a month till Queen started telling her how she wanted things and it only became worse when she found out that she had not yet signed the divorce papers. They were fighting almost everyday and it was not what she thought it would be like.

' Queen come on, you knew I had kids when we started dating. You expect me to abandon my kids?!'

' I'm not saying abandon them but they do not need to be with you every weekend. Plus they were always with their mother and you can continue to do that. Just keep them with her and you'll send money because I damn sure won't allow you going over to her house.'

' You're joking right?! These are my kids and I cannot not see them because you're threatened by their mother.'

Nicole laughed out loud. They stood in her kitchen while the kids were in their bedrooms.

' Bitch please! I am not threatened by that fat bitch. I managed to take you from her and keep you. Look at me, I'm more of a woman than she'll ever be but I'm not taking care of no kids. That's why my son stays with his father and I'm not having anymore.'

' Yes you did babe and I need you to take care of me and let us stop this arguing. You know I haven't had any in three days.'

' That's your doing. Take these kids to their mother_ hell even to boarding school and we will have all the nasty sex you want.'

Nicole scrunched up her face. Even though she felt her marriage was not the best and Betty was not who she wanted she loved her children more than anything but Betty went through hell with the treatment just so she could have the family she wanted and now here was this women standing in her kitchen telling her to make less time for her children.

' Okay I'll talk to Betty about it.'

' You see that wasn't so hard now was it?'

Queen said wrapping her arms around her neck and jumping on her waist. Nicole felt like hell as she took her into her matrimonial bedroom not because she used to share it with her wife but because she had to make the decision to see less of her children.

' So I was thinking that we go ring shopping today?'

Queen said as they lay naked and out of breath in the bed she used to share with her wife. Propping herself up with her elbows she turned to look at her.

' Rings for what?'

' We're getting married after your divorce is finalized. I've already found the perfect dress, shoes and ....'

Nicole blocked her out as her mind wondered off to the her and Betty's wedding day.
