Lyric sat with her parents constantly checking the time as they waited on Betty to eventually kick Nicole out. Only five minutes had passed but it all ready felt like five hours without her. The guests kept whispering between each other and it aggravated her. Nicole was intoxicated and could be heard where they say and Betty on the other hand can be only heard once or twice when she raised her voice. She desperately wanted to go check on her then throw Nicole out but she was going to let her handle it.

' Maybe I should go check on her.'

Nicole said to Lyric.

' Nicole when you had me, you did not want me. You had the perfect partner in Queen right!? Those were your words remember! '

' I was dumb and stupid and wrong. I thought I was the woman. Thought she was perfect but I was wrong and I am sorry for everything I have put you through. I know better now.'

' You know better!?'

Nicole nodded yes just as Star walked in.

' Mom are you Okay?'

' Yes I am fine baby. I'll be out in a minute please tell Lyric.'

' You even have my kids hating me.'

Both mother and daughter made a dramatic turn of their heads and glared at her.

' I caused your children to hate you?! Are you for real right now! I am not the one who had an affair for three years. You did that. I was home raising my kids and trying to make a home for you but you did not care. You brought this all onto yourself.'

' I've apologized Betty and I promise you I've changed. I've realised I was wrong and you're the only woman for me.'

Nicole had tried to date again after Queen but none of those relationships were fruitful and everytime they failed she went after Betty. After her last failed relationship she decided to stay single and pursue Betty. Nicole had started stalking her after her engagement and would corner her as she left work or if she was out alone with her children. Lyric had advised her to report her and get a restraining order but Betty thought it was not necessary.

Nicole would keep their children for more days than specified in their custody agreement in order for Betty to come over to the house. Where she would try to convince her to leave Lyric. When that failed she filed for custody stating that Betty had her children around a drug user who was abusive to the children. The court proved those accusations not to be true and Betty got custody. Star was no longer close to her because she believed she let Queen treat them badly and molest her twin brother.

' I cannot do this with you today or here. I've got somebody who truly loves me standing out there. I am sorry it did not work out for you but thank you for what you did. I honestly no longer hate you because if you had not cheated, I would have never met Lyric,my soulmate. I have to go, she's waiting on me.'

'I can't let you do that.'
