' Babe sthap! I've got to get dinner ready for the kids.'

Betty giggled as Lyric pressed her onto the bed and attacked her semi-nude body with kisses. They had been dating for four months now and she had never been happier. Her children loved her and weirdly enough Star and Lyric were best of buddies.

' How long do we have till you have to pick them up?'

' I'm not picking them up. Nico is bringing them over said something about wanting to talk.'

' Do you want me to leave?'

' No, why?'

' I mean her and I haven't like officially met. Did not think you want us meeting like this.'

' Well today is the day you officially meet and I do not have a problem you meeting with her. I just assumed you would tell me when you're ready.'

' We need to stop assuming.'

Lyric pulled her towards herself and they made out in her kitchen. They separated when someone coughed behind her.

' Nico, we didn't hear you guys come in.'

' Obviously.'

Betty was surprised to receive a hug from her ex wife. They had not seen each other for almost a year as she made sure to have no contact with her because Queen made a fuss the day her daughter called her in tears to come pick them up. Betty drove over only to have the door slammed in her face by Queen and when Nicole opened it, she accused her of sleeping with Betty. The children ended up spending the weekend with Nicole after she fixed the bedroom issues. Though four months later Queen was still mad. Betty introduced the two and Lyric held out her hand but Nicole just starred at her.

' I know who she is!'

' What?! How?'

' She used to be a famous hockey player and her parents are world famous musicians.'

Betty was not much of a sports person and never really paid attention to anything sports related but she did think that her girlfriends mother looked familiar.

' I just thought you were playing dumb all this time.'

' I wondered why those girls were eye fucking you at dinner the other day.'

The two were in their own world as they laughed at Betty being clueless.

' Can we talk._ In private.'

' You're joking right?'

' Babe it's okay let me go see what the kids are up to.'

Betty tried to protest but Lyric assured her it was fine and left for the living room.

' So you got her around our kids?'

' Are you serious right now?'

' How can you have her sleeping here and watching our kids alone!?'

' What am I to do when it's a school night and I have no one to watch them and second this is my house. I can do whatever I want. You haven't paid me a single cent from the home you stay in but you don't see me fussing over the fact that you have a leave in girlfriend. Atleast Lyric sleepovers and I don't have to explain myself to you.'

' Do you even know she used to be a drug addict.'

Betty sighed she was really trying to be civil with her ex wife.
