If you didn't get that title
Go read some comics.

So this is a rant about language. Like, "profane" language.

**contains mild swearing** (duh)

So I have a grey opinion of swearing. I think it's okay around the right people and in the right circumstance.

Like I'm not gonna go up to my teachers and say

"Yo b*tch when's that sh*t due dammit?"

No.

That makes you sound unprofessional and immature. I don't want to be thought of that way by adults. Especially teachers because reference letters...

BUT that being said, I have less of a filter around my friends. Which is fine, because of course every teenager swears.

If anyone says they don't they are lying.

Typically, I say things like "dammit" or "that p*ssed me off".

And with dammit, I really don't consider that much of a swear word. I mean really.

Anyway. I had a point to make.

These words are... Well, words. That means they only mean what WE want them to. So, although we shouldn't say them all the time, as some of them have pretty terrible meanings, we shouldn't gasp at the fact that someone says these things.

If you look up the meanings for some swear words, you would be really surprised.

I think mild swearing around friends or by yourself is okay. But people who freak out when I swear really... Well, really p*ss me off.

GET OVER YOURSELF ITS JUST A FREAKING WORD.
