You're only doing what you were created too.

The words rang in Kai's mind like a throbbing pulse. A piece of a puzzle she didn't know existed fit together.

Khoine had created her for a reason.

That was why every time Kai came close to dying, something happened that made her live.

And for whatever reason she was supposed to be alive that couldn't be a good thing if someone like Khonie was the main contributor to that reason.

Khoine grinned at her, her icy nails tapping rhythmically on Kai's chin.

"Now be a good little creation and follow me."

It was like she was a puppet as her body obeyed her grandmother's command, and she followed the black haired goddess back the way they had come.

Morgana and Dani whispered for a second before Dani apparated, leaving Kai with Morgana and Khoine.

It felt exactly how it had back on the pier when Kai's mother had taken over her body.

It was like she was watching herself do things in a dream, as if they weren't happening to her.

But they were her actions.

She was the one who created the devastating avalanche that tore through a small village at Khoine's command.

She was the one who created an ice sailboat the size of the titanic that sailed Khoine across the Northern Atlantic, from where she guessed was Greenland, towards New York.

She was the one who made the salt water arc over New York city like a floating river, to guide their boat to the doors of Olympus on top of the Empire State Building.

She was the one who tore down the gateway to Olympus with a tidal wave, shattering it into a million irreparable pieces.

"So what does that mean? I mean, for you anyway. Like you're free, now what are you going to do?" Lucas asked Trevor, who had begun to sort through a backpack he hadn't noticed before.

"I'm going to find Dani, and Morgana, and try to free them." Was Trecor's determined reply.

He stood up, adjusting his black vest over his red tank top and extended a hand to Lucas.

Lucas took it, a little woozy still from the combination of the cold weather and the usage of his powers.
He didn't realize exactly how much energy it took him to break the connection between Trevor and someone else's mind.

"Okay, but did it ever cross your mind that they didn't want to be freed? I mean, if they're still under control, and you walk up to them, then whoever has their minds will have your sisters kill you." Lucas pointed out as he stood up, with Trevor's assistance.

Trevor shook his head. "I do know that Dani wants to be freed, I'm not sure about Morgana, but I can't imagine she would want to remain underneath Nero's control for this long."

"Wait Nero is- er was- the one controlling you?" Lucas bit his lips nervously when Trevor confirmed the question with a nod.
"That's not good, he should've died a long time ago."

"Well he didn't because-" Trevor was about to reply, but it seemed as though he were physically unable to, "that's odd, I used to know but now I don't."

Lucas scrunched his eyebrows together deep in thought. "That can't be a good thing, that means that the two of you were sharing memories, maybe not all of them, but some and now he took the ones he didn't want you to have."
