I yawned as I woke up, the sun shining through my window in the new dorm room, and the birds chirping outside. A classic Disney morning. I smiled slightly and walked over to the chair in front of my desk, grabbing the clothes I had chosen the night beforehand. It was simple and comfortable.

My outfit for the day consisted of a white and red bomber jacket, black jeans, a white t-shirt, and black and white converse. I quickly put on said outfit and walked into the living room of the dorm, finding the other two already awake.

They were already dressed and ready but I began to think for different reasons. Logan always seemed to be prim and proper, so he was always up early and ready by the time the others were up.

Just small observations after living with these two clowns for a week, I just hope the fourth person isn't a prick.

Patton being ready is what surprised me more though, he usually slept in until around nine or ten, but was up at seven today, fully dressed and all.

"Come on Logan! Our new dorm mate is coming today!!" He chirped as he bounced around.

Logan looked up from his book. "Patton, there will surely be a substantial crowd and it will be near impossible to find a person you don't even know."

I walked to the fridge and grabbed my coffee from the previous day. I had been in the mood for an iced coffee. I'm gay.

I stood in the doorway to the kitchen and listened to the other two quarrel before Logan sighed and finally conceded.

Patton looked quite enthusiastic as he grabbed his key card and put it in his pocket. He quickly unlocked the door before he ran out and down the hall, out of view. I chuckled lightly and decided I'd join him in a little while.

-Time skips are fun-

It had been maybe... an hour before I decided to assist Patton. Honestly, probably more of trying to get him back into the dorm room.

I grabbed my key and walked down the hall, humming a Disney song. I waited for the elevator for a moment before it opened and several people shuffled out onto the floor. I said hello to a few and continued on my way.

The elevator opened again and I stepped out only for a short guy, maybe 5'6,  mumbling to himself and reading a dorm paper, to run headfirst into my chest.

I stumbled a bit but regained my balance when he stood up, rubbing his nose and mumbling an apology with his eyes down and walking around me.

I lightly tapped his shoulder, signalling for him to stop in the most polite way I could think of.

"Have you seen anybody named Patton by chance? He's a tad short, light brown hair, freckles, blue ey-" I looked at him as he cut me off quickly and I finally got a good look at his eyes, and boy, being gay is a curse sometimes.

His eyes were dark brown, almost black, but not quite. They had a lavender hue to them and reminded me almost of a starry sky. I blinked as he began talking, trying to 'clear the gay' out of my head.

"He said he was going to find a dorm mate and I would have told him it's too big of a crowd, but he was already gone, sorry dude."

I looked at the other for a moment, realizing I was staring and letting out a quick thanks to him as I continued on my way to find my fatherly friendo.

I just hope I can interact with that stranger a little more this year, he seems interesting.

I searched through the now thinner crowd and quickly found Patton, helping a girl figure out what she was doing. She soon left to where Pat had pointed and I nudged his shoulder.

"Hello! Do your need help finding your do- Oh, hi Roman!" He smiled widely.

I looked around for a moment. "I don't think we'll find them Padre." I said with a small smile.

Patton went to object but seemingly realized that the crowd was now thin and just some stragglers. "Yeah, you're probably right.." He said defeated.

I lead the way back to our dorm room, shuffling down the hall and unlocking it.

"I really wish I could have helped him out.. I wanted to make a good first impression!" Patton said as he walked inside and I patted his back.

"Ay, cheer up padre. Maybe you did help them and didn't realiz-"  I was cut short as Patton squealed from the living room, and said boy ran over to the seemingly uninhabited room.

Time to meet the newbie.

A/N: I know, this is only the second chapter, and it's already short af, but the next one should be longer. I just needed to 'introduce' the two lovebirds.
