A/N: Next chapter will probably be character descriptions because I feel like it.
I got home a few hours late, as I wanted to take a walk around campus. I had also ended up hanging out with Valerie.
I was surprised to find nobody roaming around the dorm. It made me wonder what other classes the others took. Patton and Logan weren't up early this morning, so they probably had afternoon classes.
But what about Stormcloud? In theory he should be here by now... Maybe he's in his room?
I debated going to check and finally decided to. I knocked on the door, and having gotten no response, silently opened it. But then I hit something.
I peaked my head in and found the nightmare himself curled up on the floor. He had his hood up and was in a ball, slumped against the wall.
He must have been exhausted to fall asleep there.
I chuckled and closed the door to leave him to rest..on the floor.
I hadn't even noticed the smudged eyeshadow from crying.
-Time Skip-
Stormcloud didn't come out of his room until a few hours after the other two come back.
Logan got back about thirty minutes after Patton, carrying three textbooks in one hand, a coffee in the other.
He went directly into his room to his stuff down, then came back out. Patton just set his bag down by the door.
As if on cue, Stormcloud walked out of his room, his hood still up.
I don't know why, but something felt, off...
I shrugged it off and cleared my throat. "It's finally awake! Anyways, let's all go get dinner from downstairs."
Stormcloud gave me a confused look before realizing we needed to get dinner from a cafeteria now. He seemed almost annoyed as he shrugged, letting me know it was a 'sure' from him.
Patton nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! Let's go!"
Logan merely followed without talking, his hands clasped behind his back, void of the just-filled coffee cup.
We walked down the dorm hallways, Patton and I in the front, him talking enthusiastically. I heard some small discussion between Stormcloud and Logan in the back, which surprised me. Stormcloud din't talk much, heck, I don't even know his NAME yet.
I vaguely listened to Patton who was gushing about his class. He was taking Botany, as he wanted to be a Botanist. It kind of amused me to listen to him ramble about the class, getting so specific he talked about his seating.
From what I knew, I thought Logan was in Engineering. He wanted to become a engineer (obviously) and I thought he'd be good at it. I had seen his skills in math and science, and he was extraordinarily good.
Stormcloud though, I just knew he was taking Theatre. He must have some reason though. His minor might fit in with his major.. Maybe theatre WAS his minor..
I, on the other hand, was taking theatre as a major, and no minor. I was hoping to make it to Broadway eventually, and become a big league actor.
That was the goal.
We eventually made it to the cafeteria, and got our food. We sat at a table in the corner, and began eating. The other two were silent, except for some small mumbling, and Patton and I were conversing in an average volume, not about anything particular though.
The cafeteria was loud and the lights were bright. Kids were coming in and out, having finished dinner or were coming to get dinner.
Eventually we finished and got up to leave, and I hummed a Disney tune to myself, This is Halloween, and I heard Stormcloud quietly, and trying to be subtle, hum along with me.
