A/N: There be Logicality in this chapter.

Patton tapped his fingers on his chin as he looked around the tailoring shop. Every suit didn't seem to catch his interest, but instead, the flowing white dress, with a light blue hem.

Roman looked with him, spotting the dress and his friend's attention to it with a small, knowing smile. He reached past Patton and took it off the shelf, handing it to the smaller. "Go try it on Padre, we'll be waiting out here," he said with a thumbs up towards his friend.

Patton smiled and bounced to the dressing room. Roman, on the other hand, looked squarely at his other two roommates. "We are here to get clothes for this dance," he huffed, Logan listening but blinking and looking to the side lazily.

Virgil though, seemed preoccupied as he read through something on Logan's phone (which he asked to use), job opportunities in the area. He saw something about a music store near the mall and hummed in thought, deciding it to be a good idea to check later.

The emo snapped out of his thought with a literal snap in front of his face, the hand making the noise belonging to Roman. "Sorry, I didn't hear a word of what you said."

Logan smirked in amusement, looking up at the perfect moment to see Patton step out of the dressing room across from them.

The nerd's cheeks flushed as he bit his lip, eyes subconsciously trailing over the shortest of the group. The action wasn't noticed by Patton, but instead the other two, who had whirled around to face the small nerd as soon as the door had creaked.

Roman shook Virgil's shoulder slightly, a gesture to leave them alone to revel in the tension, thick enough to cut with a knife. "Me and Virgil are gonna' go find something for him. Try not to get up to any funny business," he suggested, winking at the pair before dragging the emo with him.

Logan hadn't even corrected the man's grammar, still in his own trance. Patton walked towards him in a few steps and tapped his shoulder in an attempt to break him out of the trance.

The plan succeeded, the nerd straightening up with a jolt and clearing his throat, glancing around with red cheeks. "You.. uh.. look quite pleasant Patton," he commented with a taught, choked voice.

Patton giggled, a blush appearing on his own cheeks as he looked down at the feminine outfit he was wearing. It was a soft satin, the back being lace and the skirt reaching to his knee. The fabric hugged his figure, making him look surprisingly smaller and more petite.

Logan tried his best to tear his eyes from Patton, reeling with an emotion he couldn't describe. It welt warm and pleasant, like a cup of hot coffee on a winter day.

Roman, who watched sneakily through a gap between the isles' racks, smirked and turned to Virgil, who was still glancing towards the small screen in his hands.

The taller of the pair groaned loudly, snatching the phone from his friend's hands and shutting it off, promptly shoving the device into his pocket. "We are going to find you something to wear and you can continue whatever you were doing later."

Virgil huffed, stuffing his hands in his pockets and rolling his eyes. "Fine then. Lead the way, Princey," he murmured sarcastically.

Roman rolled his eyes and walked ahead, glancing over the surplus of racks as they walked. "I'm going to assume black and purple?"

Virgil nodded, glancing at the man before eying him warily. "Why'd you say purple? I'm not against it, I actually like it.."

The princely man smiled and stopped at a specific rack, pulling a suit off the bar it hung off of and draping it over his arm. "You either wear black or purple. It's pretty obvious they're your favorite colors, Ursula."
