A/N: That was a short hiatus... My creativity's back and this is the first 3rd POV chapter. :)

Virgil slipped on his hoodie, running a hand through his hair and looking at himself in the mirror. His eyeshadow seemed lighter without the eye-bags beneath, and he hummed quietly.

His resolve had been ruined. Roman had caused him to blush every time he spoke to him, to feel on top of the world with every glance. The emo wanted to feel more of that, but he couldn't let that last wall down.

He couldn't let him in, out of fear. Fear of what could happen if he did.

Virgil sighed, turning from the mirror and pulling his bag up from the floor. It was heavier than usual because of the large script now in it, along with his laptop.

He left his room, running his hand through his hair-again-in thought. The teen was startled soon though, a hum being heard in front of him.

"Hey emo. I already made your coffee, because I felt like being nice today." Roman gave a charming grin, and passed the other a black mug.

Virgil blushed brightly from the gesture, pulling the mug towards himself. "Thanks," he muttered.

Roman smiled softly and continued humming, sitting down at the island beside his roommate in silence.

The shorter of the two cleared his throat, blush intensifying. It felt like a game of cat and mouse, him being the mouse, as Roman continued to chase him around with simple gestures and charming words.

"There's a Holiday dance next month and- Hey! Stop with the face," Roman raised an eyebrow at Virgil, who grimaced as if disgusted, quickly pulling an innocent face.

"What face?" He smirked and sipped his coffee.

Roman rolled his eyes and continued. "I was wondering if you'd like to go with the rest of us..?" He smiled softly, hoping Virgil would say yes to an innocent and passive expression.

The other blushed lightly, not noticeable behind his eyeshadow and sighed, finishing his coffee. He got up to put the mug in the sink, sighing a vague, "fine.."

Roman shot up from his seat, smiling triumphantly. "Sweet! I'm s- Patton will be so excited!"

Virgil rolled his eyes, smiling slightly and grabbing his bag from the seat. "Whatever man. Just get your bag so we can go to theatre."

...

"All I've ever known is how to hold my own, but now I wanna hold you-" Virgil gulped, singing nervously. He wasn't confident like all the other actors, he didn't have a flare.

He was currently in a small side room with Roman, working on a duet. Though, the teen was still extremely nervous singing.

"Now I wanna hold you, hold you close
I don't ever wanna have to let you go-" He inhaled deeply, singing slightly more confidently.

"Now I wanna hold you, hold you tight
I don't wanna go back to the lonely life~" He finished the portion, exhaling slowly and looking to Roman, who smiled reassuringly before starting.

"Or who am I that I should get to hold you?
But when I saw you all alone against the skies, it's like I'd known you all along-" He glanced at Virgil who was fidgeting with his hoodie sleeves.

"I knew you before we met, and I don't even know you ye- ACK-" He yelped as the door opened and hit him in the back, causing Virgil to barrel over in laughter.
