||A/N: sorry for the short chapters lately, this story is nearing its end.||

Today was a good day.

Eventually, time passed before Zak's eyes. One night turned to a few, a few to many. Suddenly, it was nearing winter break.

As the day neared its end, Zak and Vincent headed home. While in the car, Vince decided that it was time to tell Zak something.

"Hey Zak?" Vincent asks.

"Yeah?"

"I know that this maybe isn't the best time to tell you this, with finals being next week and all, but... I have enough credits to graduate this semester."

"Oh." Zak is shocked at the news, but happy for his friend, of course.

"And, obviously you'll be out of a place to stay, as Carter is moving back to his mom's place since he can't afford to live on his own." Vincent takes a long pause before deciding to go on with his statement.

"But I do hear that Darryl has his own apartment, and I think it's about time that y'all made up."

If you had asked him this question a month ago, Zak would have turned his nose up at the idea and shut him down immediately. But now he's had time to heal, been able to think from Darryl's point of view. In Darryl's defense, Zak didn't give him a chance to apologize. He blocked him on all social media and blocked his number, not to mention that Zak always avoided Darryl if he saw him in the hallways.

"Okay, I'll try to talk to him."
