C O N N O R
She's different, unique and overall so stunning, but she was way out of my reach. I don't know what it is about her that drives me crazy.
I like her vibes. I like her attitude. She was too special to be with someone like me.
"I had a really good time with you." Destiny said; painting a ray of sunshine all over her face.
Her smile was really contagious, it lit up the world and made everything seem so alive. Her eyes, her lips and her spirit all at once smiled at me.
"There is so much self reassurance and confidence in your smile." I complimented, without thinking anything.
She seemed taken aback by my sudden compliment but still a charming smile was plastered on her face.
"Thanks?"
"I-I didn't mean it like that, I swear, I was just--"
She laughed at my rambling. "Connor." It froze me in the place, the way she called out my name.
I had a weird tingly feeling in my stomach, like crazy butterflies were being let loose.
"Tomorrow is Friday. Wanna meet up?" She asked, her eyes visible happiness.
"Can't wait to see you soon." I muttered out under my breath.
"Excuse me?"
"I mean, yeah sure." I chuckled nervously. "Why not!"
I have honestly made a fool out of myself in front of her, today.
"Give me your phone." She demanded.
"You want my phone?"
"To save my number, so we can decide at what time we want to meet up." She lifted up her shoulders, giving a certain shrug.
Fishing my phone out of my pocket, I placed it on her outstretched hand.
Thanks to Elliot who returned my phone yesterday, or I had to tell her how I don't even have a phone.
A moment later, she passed me my phone back.
"Thank you." I managed to say.
"See you tomorrow, Connor."
I swear, she knew the way, I got chills and my eyes lit up with excitement, whenever she called out my name.
She picked up her skateboard and shot me one last bright smile and went away.
I drew in a sharp breath; I could practically feel my soul jumping and squealing around.
Today is such a good day.
"You are so lucky, bro." I snapped out of my small trance and saw Lucas and Cameron smirking at me.
"Give me Destiny's number." Cameron said.
