I glanced at Destiny who hasn't talked to me all morning. First, I ignored her and now, she's ignoring me. The bell rang and everyone started rushing out of the music class.

I stood up too when Mrs. Henderson called me and Destiny over to her.

"Yeh?" I asked.

"I wanted to inform you that you both are doing really well in my class and you have pretty good vocals." She told, smiling at us.

"Thanks," I said, feeling happy.

"So," She looked at us and continued. "Would you both wanna perform a duet together at a school competition, which is held every year before Christmas?"

"Eh, that was so kind of you Mrs. Henderson, but no thanks," Destiny interjected.

I stared at Destiny, who doesn't even care to cast a glance at me. Well, I don't have any right to say that. It's all my fault, apparently.

I'm so stupid. I'm the most stupid person on the planet.

I started to ignore her because I couldn't help myself being just friends with her. It was getting hard for me to see her as my friend when I wanted to be more than friends with her.

"I didn't think about getting the answer right now, but take your time and think about it, once again." She said.

"You too, young man!" I gave her a small smile before I started walking out of the class.

I saw Destiny walk-off next to me, completely ignoring my existence.

"Destiny!" I called out.

"Destiny wait--"

"What?" She turned around, sending me a cold, fierce stare.

Her eyes were burning with fire, as I noticed a disapproval look settled on her face. She stepped forward and pushed me behind.

"Destiny--"

"You've been ignoring my calls and texts since the last two days and now when the time comes to have a duet with me or shit, you decided to speak to me." She yelled at me, in the middle of a hallway.

Destiny was breathing heavily as she glared at me. I wouldn't be surprised if steam would protrude out of her ears with anger.

"I did because I thought you're mad at me for not showing up at the cafè, that day--"

"Yeh, that's a point. If you didn't want to meet me or any crap came up to you, you should have told me. You made me wait around 20 minutes there and didn't even decide to show up. No text, nothing." She snorted and her gaze met mine, face red. "Huh?"

"I'm sorry about that but let me exp--"

"There's nothing to explain." She cut me off, snapping at me.
