"Stop, stop," I said.

"What's wrong?" Maeve asked.

"We should take it slow. I feel like we are rushing so many things. I wanna go on dates and then have fun before we really have sex," I said.

"I'm sorry if you feel like I'm rushing things," Maeve responded.

"I'm still a virgin and I want to do it when I'm ready," I said.

I hope I didn't offend Maeve. I wanted to have sex with her but only when I was fully ready.

"Here, let me help you," I insisted as I put on Maeve's bra.

Some things were a little awkward after but we put on a movie from Netflix.

"You are such a dominant," I said to Maeve while laughing.

"I really am. I just love taking in charge, just not in bed," she said while laughing again.

We decided to watch a classic movie: Sixteen Candles. Maeve and I cuddled under a blanket.

"Does Tom know about us?" I asked.

"Not yet, I'll tell him soon," said Maeve.

"My mom knows about us. In fact, I told her that I like you and she even gave me advice," I said.

"Oh really?" she laughed.

"Yes," I said.

It felt so good when we were cuddling. Maeve's legs were wrapped around me. Maeve had a crop top and her underwear on only. I had my oversized hoodie and a pair of leggings on. While Maeve was watching the movie, half of me still couldn't believe that we were dating. It was like a dream come true but I was scared if things don't turn out well, it would ruin our relationship and friendship as well. Dating your best friend doesn't always turn out well. Suddenly I felt something vibrate. It was a notification from Johnathan.

Johnathan: What you doing?

Me: Hi, I'm with Maeve right now.

Maeve then turned around to see who I was texting.

"So you and Johnathan are besties now?" she asked sarcastically.

"I mean not besties. But we are definitely getting closer. I can't believe I hated him. Johnathan is so sweet," I said proudly.

"I'm surprised I didn't notice he was gay when we were dating," said Maeve.

"I didn't either. He's actually a pretty good actor," I laughed.

I'm not going to lie, Maeve's face looked salty. She definitely didn't want me texting Johnathan. I wanted to confront her and ask her why.

"Maeve, be honest you don't want me texting Johnathan right?"

She didn't say anything but gave me an odd face which meant a yes.

"Why?" I asked.

"Well, I don't know. I feel like he's interfering with our relationship and friendship. How can you trust him so fast? I mean he cheated on me although he told us that he did cause he's gay."

Maeve was right, to be honest. Johnathan and I were moving a lot faster than I expected. He's done awful things to me but I forgave them easily. But then, I wanted to believe my gut and gave Johnathan and I's friendship a try.

"You are right Maeve. I'm sorry if you feel like Johnathan's been interfering with our relationship. I don't know I felt really bad for him after that fight. Let me give him a chance but I'll be aware of what you told me," I said while holding our hand.
