I woke up from twelve missed calls from Mom. I knew she was mad but I went back to sleep. Thankfully it was a Saturday morning so I wanted to sleep in just a little. Haley was beside me still snoring.

I couldn't stop thinking about last night. She made everything better. Our date at Dave & Busters and all around the sex was incredible. I was so happy that Maeve was there for me yesterday because it was a horrible day for me. I hope Johnathan is now conscious but he still has to grieve when he finds out his dad didn't make it. But I still wonder what the hell were they doing out at 3 in the morning.

"Morning Maeve," I whispered kissing her forehead.

"Hey why you up so early?" she groaned

"I couldn't sleep anymore," I said.

Shit, I just realized, I don't think Tom doesn't know about us.

"Maeve."

"Yeah?"

"Does Tom know about us?" I asked.

"Not yet."

"You planning on telling him?"

"Yeah, I should. We can do it together today," said Maeve.

"Well okay. Out of curiosity though, are you bi or what sexuality are you?" I asked.

"Well honestly I don't even know but I know I'm not fully straight for a fact. I'm attracted to you I mean," she responded.

"Take your time. I still don't know mine honestly too," I laughed.

"You think your Dad's gonna accept?"

"I hope so but he is a little homophobic. Fuck we'll see," said Maeve.

We stayed in bed together for about 20 minutes then we finally decided to brush our teeth. Maeve gave me a new toothbrush from her cabinet. We ate some cheerios and heard Maeve's Dad come out of his room.

"You ready?" she murmured.

"Yeah, I guess. Very nervous though." I whispered.

"Act cool first. Then we'll slowly get into us," she said.

"Okay," I said.

"Oh hey Haley," greeted Tom as he brewed some coffee.

"Hey, Tom it's been a while since we met," I continued the conversation.

"I know. So when'd you get here?" asked Tom.

"Uh, last night. We took the bus to downtown LA and came back here for the night." I said.

"Oh cool. What did you guys do at downtown?"

"We went to Dave & Buster's," blurted Maeve.

"Cool cool. How's your Mom doing?" asked Tom.

"She's good. She's at Longdale Hospital because Johnathan and his Dad got into a car accident."

"Oh my god how are they doing?" said Tom shockingly.

"Unfortunately Zach didn't make it but Johnathan did," I said.

"Oh god. That's really sad. I'm friends with his parents. I should probably go down there today then," said Tom.

"Okay sounds good," I responded.

As Tom went back inside his room, Maeve and I continued to finish our cereal.

"Well maybe today isn't a great time to tell him," Maeve said.
