REALIZATIONS . . . .
Rohit sat that morning on his bed all alone , his hands on his forehead.
Flashes of everything that had happened ever since he met Sonakshi Rastogi the very first time stormed through his mind. His first meeting when he saw the angel in front of him , to his hatred , to their friendship and eventually love . She understood him and stood by him like nobody else, all along their journey . She always tucked at his soul. Her beautiful eyes , her ever loving and warm heart , her strength as a women and her immense love for him , everything was absolutely fine till somebody decided to write their story differently . . he thought .
Today as he sat all alone in a room that was only his for 32 years , it never felt the same. She had been there only for a little more than three months and yet when she left , she left behind an empty room for him . A room where he was suffocating . She had accepted him and his family the moment she stepped in . .
she had made this house , hers
his room, theirs
and
him , hers .
She was like his heartbeat , his daily supply of oxygen ...... his reason to breathe.
With her she took all of that away . . she left him lifeless.
Of course , she had lied , he thought . But that shouldn't have been reason for him to humiliate her publicly . . to manhandle her . . to verbally abuse her .
He sat in his room replaying all the damages that his family had done . And the biggest damage that he had done . He had told her multiple times that marrying her was his biggest mistake and that he wanted a bloody divorce . He had pushed her , pulled her , insulted her , manhandled her. He had killed her a little every day and yet she waited long enough to let him heal . . to hold him with the warmth of her love , to pull him back together while she stood so broken every night.
He knew her more than anybody else . . how could he not understand her ?. . her intention ? . . her emotion. ......... HOW??
As he sat there all alone absorbing the fact that she left with the divorce papers signed was a clear indication that she had set him free . There was no intention of getting back . She did not give him a warning call . . SHE JUST LEFT.
Flashes of everything that had transpired the previous night created havoc in his mind and body . She had said so much yet he had not understood. Everything that had happened the previous night was about she absorbing him in parts after a long silence of 6 days . She made sure she had taken enough of him with her . Of course she had left a part of herself with him also.
Along with sadness , he also felt annoyance knowing that she was at it all through the night without giving him the slightest of clue.
As he sat there feeling all hopeless and lost . . . something suddenly flashed .
Suddenly he felt hope .... suddenly he felt life inside of him . . . suddenly he remembered the one thing that she continuously mentioned . .
