An hour later as Sonakshi stirred and opened her eyes to check the time . . She saw two little eyes staring at her. Rehaan was intensely looking at her as he was still sucking his thumb. There was a sadness in those big innocent eyes . .
Sonakshi : Caressing his head . . Kya hua mere bacche ko ?
Rehaan almost makes a face like he is ready to cry. Sonakshi pulls him close as his head comes and rests on her chest . She caresses his back as she holds him tightly . . Kya hua baccha ? She kisses him frantically on his head as Rohit just wakes up not understanding what's happening.
Sonakshi signals to him almost teary eyed.
Paliiii Di . . Aap mele paas luc jao na .... aapko shehel kyu jaana hai ?
Sonakshi looks at him lovingly . . Aapki maa ne batayya hai naa aapko ki humaare maa babuji wahi hai . . toh hume jaana padega . . hain naa?
Aap thode din aul luk jao . . hum aapke maa babuji ko phone karke bataa denge . .
Sonakshi feels very emotional as she pulls him close yet again . Sonakshi signals Rohit for help .
Rohit sits up and takes Rehaan in his lap. Sonakshi sits besides them .
Rehaan . . hume abhi toh jaana padega naa? Hum waapas aa jaayenge aapko milne . .
Sonakshi gives a shocked look to Rohit. She was dead against lying to kids and that too to her Rehaan. Just as she was supposed to say something Rohit signals her to stop . .
Rehaan : kab ?
Rohit : Jald hi . . Tab tak aap humse phone pe baat kar lena . . Thik hai ?
Rehaan thinks for sometime and nods . . Aap dono humse phone pe baat kalenge naa . . ek saath ?
Sonakshi looks at Rohit . .
Rohit : Haa . . Hum dono karenge . .
Sonakshi : Par . .
Rohit signals her not to say anything yet .
Rehaan hugs Rohit and Sonakshi and comes and settles in Sonakshi's lap and looks up at her face . Aap bahut acche ho Palliii di ...
Rohit making a sad face . . Aul main ?
Pehle toh dost hum the naa aapke . . Abhi aap sirf Palii di Palii di karte ho . . He makes a sad face gain ... Sonakshi smiles . Rohit had a way with people . . with kids especially making her again think what a lovely dad he would be .
Rehaan gets up and comes to Rohit : Nahi . . aap bhi hume acche late ho .... pal .... looking at Sonakshi
Rohit : Main ab lo lunga ....
Rehaan : Nahi ...nahi aap lona nahi . . Main aapse phi bahut pyaal kalta hoon . . and he hugs Rohit . .
Sonakshi smiles at Rohit . . Bas Rohit . . Mere rehaan ko pareshaan nahi karna ....
She moves closer to Rehaan and both of them hug him.
He had done so much for them and they were constantly feeling the insecurity he was experiencing. They knew that there was nothing larger a child could feel more than body emotion. Hugging him , kissing him is something they were constantly doing to help him heal from his insecurities . They were connecting to his heart differently so that even when they were not around , the warmth would stay back to make him feel better .
