That night they had all gone to bed happy . Rehaan as usual slept on Rohit , with Sonakshi besides him , very close . He had moved his head from Rohit's chest to move closer to Sonakshi to kiss her forehead before he had finally fallen asleep.
At around 2:30 am , Rehaan stirred as usual .
Re : Maa . .
Rohit wakes up . Sonakshi moves in her sleep with the movement .
S : Kya hua ? . . in a sleepy tone .
R : Main isse uski maa ke paas chood ke aata hoon. She nods .
Rohit lifts him up and carries him downstairs , knocks on the door and lets him in . He then moves back to their room . He was surprised to see Sonakshi missing from the bed. He looks around and finally finds her in the balcony looking into the valley , though dark but dimply lit . He smiles .
R : Sona nahi hain ?
She turns to look at him and smiles . Nahi aise hi .....
R : Coffee piyogi ?
She nods .
He moves in n makes 2 cups of coffee in the kettle and moves back and settles next to her on the couch, handing her one of the mugs .
She was all cuddled up with her legs closer to her chest on the couch because of the cold. As he sits , she snuggles closer to him . He immediately removes his jacket that was lying on the edge of the couch and envelops her in it . They sit there , calm , looking into the dimply lit valley .
After a few seconds . .
R : hmmmm.... Neend nahi aa rahi hain tumhe ?
S : Nahi . . aise hi jag gayi toh . .
R : Toh ?
She turns to look at Rohit . He moves his head in a questioning manner .
S :Rohit , mujhe kuch puchna hai .
R : Haan bolo as he sips his coffee .
S : Mujhe jaan naa hain ki mere jaane ke baad kya hua .
R : Kya jaan naa hain ?
Tumhe toh pata hain naa ki main pehle California gaya tha aur baad mein Rui aaya tha .
S : Nahi woh . .
R : Kya Sona . . looking at her with an inquisitive look.
S : Tumne kaha naa ki tumhaare paas koi nahi tha . . ki Sirf rehaan tha . . woh
Rohit sighs . . Rehne dete hain naa ?
S : Kyun Rohit ?
R : Ab jaan ke kya badalne waala hai .. bolo ?
S : Mere liye sab kuch badal hi toh gaya jab tumne apne dard ke ek chote se hisse ke baare main bataya . Mujhe jaaan naa hain . Mujhe woh har dard mehsoos karna hai jo tumne meri wajah se saha hain ?
R : Aur woh dard jo tumne meri wajah se tumne sahe hain . . uska kya ?
She looks him : Maine pehle poocha tha . .
He raises his hands in the air : Ok baba . . Kya jaan naa hain , bolo ?
S : Mere jaane ke baad , kya hua tha ?
