They have lunch at a multi cuisine restaurant so that everybody got a choice of what they wanted to eat . Next they move to the multiplex to watch the movie .
More than once the seats around them were filled with Rehaan's giggles and all that Rohit and Sonakshi did were look at each other with a smile every time that happened .
Ohhhh . . they loved Rehaan so much . Rehaan occupied a seat next to Sonakshi and Riya next to Rehaan . All the time through the movie Rohit's fingers were intertwined with Sonakshis . . he sometimes lovingly stroking them . . sometimes lifting and kissing her hand as the kids remained occupied . They so much longed for each other after their incomplete night that day but they knew it was a wait and they held on patiently while the desires within them only rose with every passing moment . . day and night .
Sonakshi had informed the menu for dinner to Vimmi and she was getting things ready back at the villa with bubbles all over her on and off whining endlessly and complaining that he was left alone . They so badly wanted to take him along but it was not possible with their plan for the movie on.
After the movies , they visited the mall. Sareen had clearly informed Rehaan and Riya that their Palii di would only buy one gift for them each . . that too within a budget that she had set . Rohit had made a face and Sareen had patted him telling him he would understand this when they have kids . Sonakshi had smiled knowing Sareen very well and Rohit had finally agreed . So over the board shopping was clearly not allowed .
Rehaan made a mental list of all that he loved and waited to scan the entire mall before he decided on that one item that fitted the budget that Sareen has set . This helped the kids value others money and effort and also made them understand that one has to calculatively choose what they most need and put away items that are less important . Rehaan moved with Rohit and Sonakshi while Riya moved separately with Sareen and her babuji.
In one of the outlets . . Rehaan sees Sonakshi admiring an outfit in lemon yellow for a few seconds and then letting it go . He saw her hands moving admiringly on a set of oxidised earrings too and then letting them go as well while Rohit was busy looking for something for the kids from his end and a Kurta for the father .
They met an hour later in a cafe for snacks and a coffee before they continue their shopping. Rehaan and Riya were very excited to sit on one of the toy trains that was busy moving with a few other kids in the atrium of the mall. As Sonakshi and Rohit were busy chatting, Rehaan comes and whispers in Sareen's ear . Sareen excuses herself and moves to the shop that Rehaan drags her to . They have a small discussion before making a couple of purchases and they get back .
Rehaan had finally settled for a hot wheels with a track that fitted the budget and Riya for a football kit as she wanted to play the way her mother did .They arrive home all happy with all of their purchases . Rehaan was restless and Sareen had gotten him under control . Finally after dinner he was allowed to do what he had waited for since evening .
Rehaan slowly moves to their room and leaves 2 packets neatly packed in gift wraps on the bed with hand written notes on noth . He then moves downstairs and then joins them in the living .
They had had a long day and it was finally time to pack off for the night . Sonakshi hugs Sareen and Riya wishing them a good night and moves to their room with Rohit . They were very surprised to see the gift packs on the bed with handwritten notes in a scribbled manner . It was difficult to read .
Sonakshi's Parcel read : meliiii pyaaali palii di . Ye aap ke liye lehaan ki taraf se .Hum umeed kalte hai ki aapko accha lage .
Sonakshi was quite amused and surprised at the same time . She calls Rohit who moves towards her with the other parcel which read in scribbled format again : Mele pyaaale dost . . Humne ye aapke liye khaleeeda hai . Hum jab bade honge , toh bilkul aap ki talah doctol banenge aur logon ko thik kalenge . Rohit was quite emotional reading this especially knowing that Rehaan had never expressed his love for him openly .
