The drive till the outskirts of Mumbai was a chaotic one. As they move further away from the city, the air becomes cleaner and the temperatures had begun to drop.  Sonakshi and Rohit had not had any time to discuss their conversations with Sareen and the Father with each other.

Rohit was seated next to Ravi with Rehaan and bubbles on him only because Rehaan insisted that he wanted to sit with his dost and that he wanted to see the terrain as they move . Rohit had initially insisted that he would sit at the rear and that the father could sit in front  . Riya sat with Sareen and Sonakshi in the middle row and the father on the last . On and off Riya moved to sit with him and speak to him  .

The windows were pulled down for Rehaan on and off as he screamed to the onlookers as they drove waving his hand rigorously. Sonakshi smiled at his antics all along the way, while Sareen tried to calm him down. Sonakshi and Sareen had general conversation all along the way. There was a time when Sonakshi fell asleep on Sareen's  shoulder and she held her like her little baby. Rohit had smiles looking at this and wished it was him there instead of Sareen.

The route had finally started  meandering along the ranges . The skies had beautiful formations of clouds , the valleys were green and the air cool . They took a small halt to look at the mountain ranges and then once again to ease themselves and stay hydrated. At around 3:00 their car pooled in into the arrival area of the homestay.

It was a very cosy layout with cottages with tiled sloping roofs opening to the valley . The reception area was a minimal structure on crude wooden and bamboo columns with low seating areas  , which allowed a semi view towards the rear through its openness. The flooring of the space was made with locally available natural stone and had a desk in wood against a wall. A middle aged couple owned the place and there was a certain feeling of warmth about them as they came to greet their newest visitors . Rehaan was the first to jump out of the car with bubbles following him   . Immediately there was a connection established  with the couple as the others followed.  They were served a local juice and then they walked to the cottage .

The lady, Shrujan showed them around the cottage and left after arranging some local refreshments for them . Rehaan hugged her, thanking her for the courtesy .

The cottage opened into a sort of courtyard with a beautiful tree within it .  On one side of the same was a sitting , dining area with a door to a bedroom. The other wing had a set of wooden stairs that led to the upper floor , a single bedroom . This bedroom was comfortably sized yet cosy with a balcony that opened to the valley . The room had a queen sized bed with a warm duvet and a dark wooden flooring . The walls were mud plastered and an uneven soft off white . There was a chime on one side of the bed near a window . It sounded overtime the wind blew . The roof was a sloping roof of wood and terracotta tiles.

The lower bedroom again opened to a stone floored deck looking into the valley . This was a slightly larger bedroom with an extra bed on one side . Again the interiors were warm , cosy and woody . Next to the stair was  another single room that opened to the outside. It was decided that Ravi would stay there .

Rohit and Sonakshi had decided to take the upper bedroom as it was smaller and also because it reminded them of their bedroom in Rui .

The refreshments were done  and  it was already 4 . .

Sa : Chalo thoda so lo Rehaan , Riya . She looks at Sonakshi . Aap bhi thoda rest kar lo.
