Gently from your mouth
Your heart keeps pouring out
The words you speak are truth
The only one who knows is you
How it feels to be so blue
When hanging on is all you can do
Carry on through the twilight
The dark thoughts bleed out with the night
When the sun tips the horizon
You'll be home
You'll be here with me
Our hearts slow their beating
And we know
That our home is where we go
When the sun is heading down
And our faith gets turned around
We know where to go
We go home
Arms are open
Tears are streaming
But we share our thoughts so freely
No ones judging
How we're feeling
There is only love and comfort
To heal hearts in times when they hurt
They brighten darkness
And hide our weakness
That is why, when we must cry
And the dark overtakes the night
We head to the place
That in our heads we can't remake
We call it home
