Why can't they see him?
His heart is so thin
His jackets can't warm him
From the pain within
He speaks of darkness
Long nights and heartbreaks
His hair falls into misty eyes
Over a face that's always telling lies
It doesnt matter
I'm okay
I said I'm fine
But when hes alone
He dies inside
He's crying for help
And his truth is leaking out
His heart feels everybody else's pain
All his sympathetic efforts made in vain
He looks out for others without being asked
But when he's in need his friends leave him in the black
The boy has a heart made of diamonds and ice
The crystal shards are shiny but sharp enough to slice
He keeps it safe in super frigid temperatures
And pushes away anyone who makes his nervous heart stir
It's gun shy
It hides away
On the super fly
Hidden it will stay
His heart is his secret
But he needs someone to save it
Other people weigh him down with all their news
Someone needs to be there to save him from that gloom
He hurts on his own
He's always alone
He just needs a person to sit by his frigid throne
They'll hold his hand and share their warmth
And in the dark,
The ice will start
to melt on his frozen heart.
