Why can't you hear me
I have been screaming
Emotions tearing carpet from the floors and plaster from the ceiling
A torrential hurricane of hating seething tearing
I know that you aren't there for me
At most you always let me down
And yet I still keep on waiting
My voice always drowned out in the crowd
I'm dumb and I'm aware of it
Can't let go, when my heart takes a hit
The pain in my eyes reflects a mind that broken and bruised and scarred so really
So when you say that you can't hear me
What you mean is you aren't listening
Why can't you see me ?
I have been screaming
Emotions tearing carpet from the floors and plaster from the ceiling
A torrential hurricane of running, crying, l
eaving
I have learned the truth about you
You abandon all those who need you
Full of yourself
Can't find my way out
Looking for an escape but everything around me screams that I am trapped for an eternity
And I
Am always wondering
Why can't you hear me ?
I have been screaming
Emotions tearing tile from the floors and plaster from the ceiling
A torrential hurricane of running, screaming, fearing
I wish that you were listening
because emotions give life meaning.
