Conall Wolf

20) First task 2

Conall flies over de grounds of Hogwarts, the ferret leading the way. He checks his watch and he really had the feeling of just making a round over the grounds, not caring about the tournament. This flying gives the best feeling he felt in ages. He is glad that he sees the quidditch pitch in the distance, so that he can still fly for a long time. He closes his eyes and enjoys the wind going through his hair. He makes a scream of joy, letting everything out.

When he opens his eyes again he sees the quidditch pitch coming closer and closer, and he gets back in his control mode, he still needs to finish this task. He flies towards the pitch and he lowers the ferret a bit, so that the hippogriff will be ready to land. Conall flies nearer and nearer and then he starts to smell a terrible smell.

Conall made it to the pitch and he sees everyone pointing at him, and the music starts to play together with all the cheering screams of everyone. Conall can spot some supporting banners for him with is name on it and he smiles bright. However, this smile disappears quick enough. Right on the middle of the pitch he see two ginormous giants. This explains the awful smell. Conall tries to land the hippogriff, but he rejects it. Then he remembers that hippogriff will never get on the ground when there is danger. Conall swears in his mouth and he tries of think of a solution.

"I hope this will work..." Conall mutters to himself and he tries to let the hippogriff fly as low as possible. Then he makes himself ready to jump, and when he has a safe distance from the trolls he jumps of the hippogriff. He throws the ferret in the air so that the hippogriff can eat it. Conall looks how the hippogriff flies away and he has a sad feeling, but this feeling didn't last for long because he needs to get across these two mountain trolls.

Now he is on the ground he finally notices the enormous size of them. He learned that mountain trolls have an average length of 12 feet, but these trolls are at least 15 feet. He inspects the trolls, and one of them has noticed him and he is walking towards Conall. Conall tries to think as quick as possible how to dodge it, but he first needs to know where he needs to go. He scans the rest of the pitch quickly and he can see four table in every corner of the pitch. He tries to find a way but he just starts to run, hoping that he won't get hit.

He runs to the table that is on his right hand, but to his regret the troll was in front of him before he knew it. He makes a quick stop and dives down for the club that he holds.

"Flipendo!" Conall yells, but his spell has no succes because the troll was so huge. Conall tries to think as quick as possible, he needs a diversion.

"Avis!" Conall yells, and a flock of birds start to fly out of his wand and they gather around Conall.

"Oppugno!" Conall says and the birds start to attack the troll, this was the perfect moment for Conall to run further. He runs as fast as he can, which isn't that hard and he gets by the first tabel. He grabs the tube without thinking and he clips it together with the other tube. Now that is done he sees that his path is clear for the next table, so he just runs and on his way he tries to find a way of getting past the second troll.

Conall gets safely to the second table, and he gets the tube. He looks up and he sees that the biggest of the two is standing between him and the third table. He closes his eyes and he focusses, he ignores all the cheers and he tries to find a way of going past them. When he opens his eyes again he pretends to see a parkour that Thierry could set up. He takes a quick look at his watch and he sees that he has exact 15 minutes left to retrieve two tubes. He has to do this.

Conall starts to run and he hears Thierry's voice inside of his head saying that he needs to dodge. Conall runs and when he comes to the troll he dodges all his attacks from his club. Conall doesn't even see the troll, he only sees the parkour of Thierry and his advises. He dives and does some diversions, and before he knows it he made it till the third table. He takes the tube with a smile and starts to run further.
