43) Friends

The last months went faster and faster. Conall did more slowly with his training. He wanted to take time for his last moment with everyone together. A few times a week he has his training, and the other time left he spends on school and his friends. He got even closer and closer with Katsumi and they know a lot more about each other right now. Conall also learned from the things that Thierry said, so they are now causing a lot of trouble in the castle. They got some prank stuff and they are pranking a lot of people. They had so much fun in these months and they definitely made some good memories that they can look back at.

At that is how they are now sitting in the grass at the side of the lake. They got some food out of the kitchen and they were having a cosy picnic. Katsumi and Madeleine are there as well and they are having fun with each other. The weather is also getting better and the sun is shining bright in there eyes. It is only a month away until the last task, which also means that their school will end as well in a month time. Roselyn is already preparing for the exams that they still have to take. Conall is privileged and he doesn't have to do them, so most of the times in the classes he is just doing some things for himself.

Katsumi introduced them these months to the music, and he got a box from home. At Hogwarts they are bending the rules about technology. A lot of muggleborns wanted to use their phones, so they easily stay in contact with their family. Katsumi his family was also really in touch with this muggle technology. Katsumi has his own phone, and he loves the music. That is why they are listening to the music and Conall really likes it.

"What can we still do? We don't have much time left..." Conall says calmly. Over the months he learned more how to deal with his fears. His fear of being a werewolf is gone, he stopped with hiding his scar on his face with his hair. Sometimes he would unintentionally shove his hair above it, so no one could really see it. Right now he is aware of when he does that, and then he quickly shoves his hair out of his face. Conall also becomes more and more over his fear for the future. He realises that he can't stop the time, and that he will have to face it. He can better enjoy the moment that he has at that time.

Conall did avoid his boggart, his biggest fear. He knows that it might come in the next task and he has now idea how he can ever defeat this one. Making something funny of it will never happen, because he will never see any joy in something that worse. Can he run away from it? Or does he need to do something else to it? He was to scared to talk about it with any one else than Faolán. He doesn't know if they heard what happened from Faolán, but he doesn't really care. They don't talk about it and that is enough for him.

"Hmm we can eat... and we can prank... and we can talk. We can do a lot of things." Thierry says, and he looks at Madeleine. They smile at each other and Conall smiles when he sees that.

"We can do truth or dare?" Katsumi suggest.

"Katsumi, no we are to old for that." Conall laughs. He doesn't even remember the last time he played truth or dare, but he always hated it. You get the weirdest questions, and he could never come up with things to ask someone else.

"Well it is not as if we know what to do else..." Roselyn says. Faolán is laying with his head on her belly, and they both lay on the ground. Roselyn goes through Faolán his hair and Conall has the feeling as if Faolán can doze off any moment. Conall looks to the next couple. Madeleine is leaning with her head on Thierry his shoulder and Thierry holds her hand. Then you have Conall and Katsumi. Conall sits crossed-legged and Katsumi leans against his chest. Conall has his arms wrapped around him. Everyone is in the absolutely chill mode.

Something comes up in Conall his mind, but it will mean that there peace will be disturbed.

"We can do a water fight." Conall grins evil.

"With what? I don't see any waterguns." Thierry says bored. Conall raises an eyebrow, what is a watergun? Then Conall remembers that Thierry is a halfblood, and he was really involved with the muggle world. Before Thierry went to Beauxbatons, he had his own life in the muggle world, where he played on a high level of soccer. Whatever that may be. Sometimes he forgets that, because Conall can only picture him as a part of the wizarding world, not being involved with the muggles.

"We are wizards aren't we? We don't need guns for having some fun." Conall says. Katsumi sees what Conall is thinking and he jumps up, pulling out his wand.

"Well I am in!" He says. Conall grins and he jumps up as well. He takes his wand and he looks at the others.

"Come on, it is not that we would be doing something else." Conall says.

Madeleine was looking up and raises her shoulders. "Why not. I already have the feeling that I am melting away here."

"Alright alright, but only because it is so hot." Thierry says and he looks at the two last love birds.  "And you guys?"

"Unfortunately I am trapped under Faolán, and it doesn't look like he is going to go anywhere." Roselyn says smart. Conall gets an idea and he points his wand at Faolán. A jet of water gets out of his wand and hits Faolán right in his stomach. He shocks up, he almost dozed away so he wasn't really aware of his surroundings. He looks confused around him but he is mostly confused of why he is wet.

"Come Lán! Water fight, right now and right here!" Conall says excited and he hits Thierry with another jet of water. Thierry doesn't accept it and he shoots back. Conall laughs and runs around. They are all running around now. Faolán got up as well, but Roselyn clearly thought that she was to old to do something like this.

They are hitting each other in the backs and Conall once accidentally hit Faolán in his face. Luckily his jet wasn't that hard, so it didn't do any harm. However, this was a reason for all the others to go on Conall. Conall could avoid the first two jets but the other two hit him right in his stomach. He gets blast away because the two jets hit at right the same time, so the force was to strong to keep him on the ground.

Conall wants to pay them back, so he points his wand to Thierry but he got distracted because right next to him Faoláns and Katsumi's jets collide to each other which caused a loud bang. Conall was supposed to release a jet of water, instead there were now whirling snowflakes out of his wand.

"Something wrong with your wand Con? Not really an affective charm." Thierry laughs and he goes further. Conall looks confused at the snowflakes, but then he gets an idea. He makes a snowball of the little pile of snow on the ground, and he hits Thierry right at the back of his head. Thierry turns around in shock.

"Not so affective?" Conall repeats Thierry his words and he runs after him. Thierry laughs and runs away from him. Conall is still faster so he jumps on his back and he ruffles through his hair. Thierry tries to get rid of him, but he can't shake him of. Conall laughs and eventually let himself fall down, because he laughs so hard that he can't hold himself onto his back. Thierry falls down on his knees, also laughing hard and the others are joining them. Faolán then releases a lot of water over his head, so he is now fully soaked in water.

"Where did you do that for?" Conall says with a big smile.

"The one who starts needs to be hit the hardest." Faolán says.

"That doesn't make any sense." Conall chuckles.

"I know, still it was funny." Faolán says and he lays down next to him, exhausted of all the running and laughing. The others join them soon enough and Conall stares at the sky happily.

"I never want to trade you guys for anything else." Conall says happily and he closes his eyes. He wants to have this in his memory forever, and looking back one day saying 'remember that day...'. These pure moments say everything.

"Me neither..." Faolán says distant.

Everyone was talking about their water fight, and how everyone hit each other. They dried up in the sun, but Conall stayed silent. He wanted to enjoy this all, he listened to everyone and never wants to leave this.
