26) Exploring the woods

"I ruined it so much..." Conall says. He holds a butterbeer in his hand and he is sitting at the side of the bar, talking with madame Pryor. He told everything that happened. Why it got so far that he had that date, how the date went, how is friends reacted.

Conall still remembers good how that went. As usual he told them everything. Roselyn kept with her idea that he should stop this right now, because he is using her, but Thierry and Faolán almost got angry at Brigitte for being so selfish. Conall escaped the conversation quickly, because he already knew how it would go and he just wanted to forget it. Everyone had the change of giving their words, and that was it. He didn't want to go further into it.

When he left he went to professor Diggory to take the Wolfsbane potion which Faolán and he has to begin again. At that time it was 7 days before full moon, so time to start with the potion again. And now it is 7 days later. Tonight it is time for his transformation but he had to go back to the Three Broomsticks, just talk everything out. For some reason he feels comfortable with madame Pryor, and she is a good listener.

"Well, I think that you should just go on with what you are doing. Sometimes you have to make some sacrifices for a greater good. Beside, you just told me that you like boys and that you do not have a relation ship yet. There can't come anything out of your deal, and you are not cheating on someone." Madame Pryor says easily, as if it is something normal.

"Isn't it weird then? That I just had a date with someone that I don't even love, and that she might kiss me?" Conall asks a bit confused. For this thing he doesn't want advise of his friends who are looking at it completely different. They will easier choose the side of Conall, knowing everything of the relation between Conall and Brigitte, how crucial the information is and even more. Conall decided to not tell everything to madame Pryor, because he doesn't know if she is going to tell the people from the tournament that he gets help.

"If you keep thinking then it will be weird, but what is a small kiss? It is really nothing, it only takes a few seconds and you will get loads of more kisses. It is not a big of a deal." Madame Pryor says sober.

"But it is my first kiss... I already ruined my first date, I don't want my first kiss to be ruined as well." Conall says sad. He kept thinking about this a lot of times. You will always remember your first date and your first kiss, because they are special. And his first experiences will both be ruined.

"If you really don't like it you can always pull back. She can't force you to do anything, so she can't force you to kiss her." Madame Pryor says.

"Thanks madame Pryor... Maybe I shouldn't make it such a big deal that I am making it right now." Conall says. He drinks up his butterbeer and he looks in his pocket for some money. It is almost time for him to leave.

"Oh don't bother dear, you will get this drink from the house. Now you should go back to the castle before it is getting dark. And we don't want wondering students at night." Madame Pryor says and she starts to clean his butterbeer.

"Thanks a lot, and you are right. I really should be back before it gets dark." Conall says, but he says it with a completely different reason. He just can't be seen transforming in the middle of the Three Broomsticks.

"No problem, and have a nice day. I hope you will fix everything." Madame Pryor says and she gives him a kind smile. Conall smiles back, says goodbye and then heads back to the castle.

Conall arrives at the carriage and he quickly changes into some old clothes. They are packing a big bag with lots of clothes, so they always have some reserve sets in the Shrieking Shack for when they transform back. Right before sunset they say goodbye to their friends and they are walking towards the Whomping Willow. They manage to make the tree calm and they climb into the tunnel.
