22) A special song

Conall stands there still for a moment, he looks at the carriage. He doesn't want to be around with them, he just wants to be alone for a moment. Conall starts to walk towards the castle.

"Hello there champion, you handled really good there. Good thought of using the ferret as a lead." Someone says. Conall turns around and he sees Ashley there, he gets a big smile on his face.

"Hey Ashley! How are you doing?" Conall says and he walks towards her.

"I am doing amazing, how are you?" She asks.

"I am great.-" Conall says but then he realises he isn't. "-Well, actually I am not that great."

"And why are you not that great?" Ashley asks curious. She leans against a tree and looks curious to him.

"Do you have the time?" Conall sighs.

"I do, do you?" Ashely asks. Conall nods and Ashley slides down against the tree and sits down crossed-legged. Conall sits down next to her and he plays a bit with the grass.

"So tell me, what is going on?" Ashley asks.

"There is this... person. And I really care for that person, I do a lot. The only problem is that every time when I am together with the person I am ruining everything. I don't know how to act anymore, I can't get out of my words, and every time when I ruin the situation I want to go away. But every time when I go away I have this empty feeling." Conall says. He looks at Ashley her reaction and she starts to grin.

"Aah our boy is in love isn't he?" Ashley says teasingly.

"I guess... I mean yes I am, I am just to scared to say it because I don't want to be rejected. You see, this person means a lot to me. I don't want to ruin that." Conall says.

"Well, do you trust this person?" Ashley asks.

"A lot, I can trust this person with my life." Conall says serious.

"You know, when words fail, music speaks. Why won't you try and use music? Even if it is only for yourself to get your thoughts straight. You don't have to share it with anyone, but I think it might help you."

"Music is more for my brother and her girlfriend... they are the musicians." Conall says serious.

"Everyone has a musician in themselves, besides it is in your family so that must go alright." Ashley says.

"How? My brother plays the violin so beautiful, and Roselyn plays the piano amazingly. I do not fit between them." Conall says ashamed. He always feels that he ruins their moment if he wants to play music as well, that he fails.

"Why so insecure? I am sure you can do some things amazing as well. Just have a little faith alright?"

"But then I still don't understand how I can play music. I do not have any instruments here."

"We do, come follow me." Ashley says and she stands up. She offers her hand and Conall takes it and he stands up as well. Then they both walk towards the castle. They walk through a lot of hallways and eventually Ashley stands still in front of a door.

"Here we have our music room, I insisted that this room would come here and they got it. Enjoy your time Conall, and I hope you will find out your struggles." Ashley says.

"Thanks Ashley, again... I am really glad that you always help me out of my problems." Conall says genuinely.

"No problem Conall, therefore I became a professor. To help people. And I don't want people to make the same mistakes I made in my past." Ashley says with a smile. Conall smiles back and then he enters the room.
