The rest of the day it was only partying. Conall made it to be the first place, and that must be celebrated. Some people got some food and all the Beauxbatons students spend he whole day in the carriage. They were mimicking Rue Miller of how she couldn't get out of her chains, and they were pretending that they could get their wand as well. Some made a string around their wand and pulled on the string so it would float towards them.

Conall enjoyed every single moment. He watched around to see what everyone was doing, and people kept going to him to ask how he did everything. Apparently they couldn't hear a thing, because the dome was blocking all the sound.

With all the feasting, there was also some trouble. How was is possible that Dean did it so well? He was the worst in the First Task, and everyone saw what a softy he was over de last months. So how was it possible that he got full marks? Was it the Task or did something happen?

Then out of nowhere Conall gets pulled out of the crowed and he comes eye to eye with Thierry.

"Are you mental! Bit weird isn't it, you are helping Dean Crimson and out of nowhere no one is picking on him anymore and he gets full marks on this task! You are lucky that you got such a head start on him from the previous task, but you are playing with fire Conall!" Thierry says mad. Conall can see that Thierry doesn't like Conall his attitude at all.

"Look, I don't know either how that happened okay? I just wanted him to have some more confidence, that is all." Conall says in defence.

"What did you tell him." Thierry sneered.

"What? I didn't tell him anything." Conall says quick.

"You told him something about the tournament! I know it, otherwise he couldn't have done that task so good with only two clues. What did you tell him." Thierry says while clenching his teeth to each other.

"Thierry you have to listen en believe me to my word. I haven't spoken any word about the tournament with him. I really only talked about his confidence!" Conall gets a bit mad now. Why doesn't Thierry just believe him?

"And the notes, where did you keep them?" Thierry demands.

"I don't know. They were in my head, I didn't need the clues anymore. I probably had them somewhere in my bag or in our cabin, why?" Conall backs of a bit, Thierry scares him.

"He must have seen them! He must have known more information. We can't trust him."

"Stop it alright. The Task is over, and I am first. That is all that matters. I don't care who is behind me, and Dean will probably fail the next task, so I rather have him behind me instead of Rue Miller." Conall says mad.

"Conall listen, he surprised us with his task, who says he won't surprise us the next one?" Thierry asks.

"Because he will need courage and skill next task, I am sure of it. This Task didn't have to do anything with that, you only needed to be silent and having luck that the centaur wasn't listening on the right moment." Conall says. "Believe me, we don't have to worry about him. And to comfort you, I won't help him anymore with his confidence. I don't want to have a quarrel with my best friend."

Thierry was thinking for a while about his words, and Conall sees that his shoulders are lowering a bit as a sign that he is calming down. "I don't like it that Dean became so good, but you are right. But I don't want to hear any other thing that you met with him again okay!"

"I won't Thierry, I promise." Conall says. Thierry agrees and they head back to the rest of the party, as if nothing happened. It didn't feel good to be shouting to his best friend, so he wants to make sure that everything will be alright between them.
