Conall runs towards the Quiddtich pitch. He doesn't want to loose his head start by running to slow. He practised for this a whole year long, now he needs to show what he can do. He runs as fast as he can and he reaches the Quidditch pitch in no time. He enters the pitch and he sees that there are also students sitting in the Quiddtich stands. This must mean that the students are divided over all the parts where they are going through. They could choose one of the location to watch. Conall likes that idea and with full courage he looks to his next obstacle.

Conall walks to the middle of the pitch and everyone in the stands starts to cheer for him. He smiles bright and then he starts to walk to the three broomsticks that are laying in the middle of the Quidditch pitch. He looks at them and then in the air. In the air are flying hundreds of keys. He looks amazed at this sight and he wonders what he needs to do. A voice in his head says 'the only way to find out is to try.'

Conall takes one of the broomsticks and he realises that something is wrong. He looks up and all the keys focus on him right now. They are flying towards him and they all pick on his skin. Conall waves with his hands to get rid of the keys, but they don't do anything. He quickly mounts his broom and he starts to fly. He never flew that much before. Thierry was always the quidditch man, and Conall didn't feel the need of sitting on a stick of hours. They didn't practise this that much either, because they didn't think that it would be a part in the tournament. Well wrong idea.

Conall tries to get out of the cloud of keys and he tries to see what he needs to do. High in the air are flying a few other keys, that don't attack him. He sees that some of them have papers around them, so that must be the ones that he needs. Conall flies up high and he looks for the keys. He can't see them properly because of the cloud of keys that surrounds him, but after a while of struggling he finally catches a key. He unwraps the paper and he sees the number two on. Conall swears in his mouth, he needs to find more keys.

He looks around and he uses the same strategy as in the lake. There must be right enough keys for each champion. Conall counts 9 keys with a paper, so that means that Conall needs two other keys. While waving his arm around him to get rid of the keys attacking his face, he starts to fly towards the keys with papers. The next key he got had a number three on it, which was perfect. Now he only needs a number one.

Conall flies and flies, but every next key he got was a 2 or a 3. Conall now see Dean running on the Quiddtich pitch and he immediately mounts a broom. Half of the keys are now focussing on Dean, so that gives Conall a bit more space. He flies further, and he sees a fourth two, he is now opening keys that he already opened. In frustration he flies further, seeing that Dean is catching key after key and before he knows it Dean is already on the ground running out of the pitch. Conall can not let this happen. In his anger he flies as hard as he can to he next key, not caring about the other keys attacking him. He feels his whole face stinging but he doesn't care. He takes the first key, sees a number one and he immediately goes back to the ground.

Conall runs quickly out of the Quiddtich pitch towards the castle. He needs to earn some time back. How was it possible that Dean got these key so fast, Conall really struggled there for a good 20 minutes. Conall feels his face and when he pull his fingers back he sees that they are shining bright red. A few keys must have cut him right in the face. Conall shakes out all of these thoughts. He can't have any distraction, he can only focusses on the Task and the things he needs to do right now. He can worry later.

Conall arrives in the Great Hall and he sees 3 long tables. Dean is already standing on one of them, with Casper Aspen in front of him. He sees the fire shooting out of Dean his eyes, while Casper his gaze is absent. Conall forces himself to not look at them and he walks to his own table. He sees that he needs to put all three of the keys in their place before he can start the duel. He places them in the right order and a lot of hissing noise is filling the air when he places the last key. This must be something good because Conall is now able to climb on the table and he looks up to see who his opponent is.
