Conall Wolf

7) Morning walk

Conall wakes up and he rubs in his eyes. He is confused in the beginning of where he is, but soon enough the truth comes in his mind and he gets a bright smile on his face. He is at Hogwarts, he spoke with Katsumi again and this year the Triwizard tournament is taking place. He jumps out of his bed, in silence en looks at the others. Because he is a werewolf he can walks soundless, and that comes in handy sometimes. He sees that the others are peacefully sleeping and he smiles. He takes his blue coat and goes out. He peeks around the corner and sees that the whole carriage is still sleeping because it is so silent. He sees Bella waking up in her basket and he places his finger in front of his mouth as a sign to stay silent. Bella stands up excited and walks silently to Conall. they walk to the door of the carriage and sneak out.

Conall never had a watch, because he thinks you can always break them. Well and mostly because he always forgets to put of his watch when the transfers in a werewolf so all his watches just break because of that. When he gets outside he stretches and sees that he sun is not even over the mountains yet. The dawn is still on the grass and he smiles. He always wakes up around the time when the sun comes up. He likes that, because no one is awake at that time so he can take his own time. He feels the grass with his bare feet and he closes his eyes. He always loves it to walk on bare feet, and you find him more without shoes then with shoes. Conall opens his eyes again and looks at Bella.

"Let's take a walk, exploring the grounds shall we?" Conall says to Bella and Bella gets excited. Conall gets a branch and throws it away so Bella can catch is. Then Conall starts to take a run and together with Bella they run around the grounds. The lakes grabs his attention at first so he runs towards there and start to jog around the lake. He looks around the whole time, amazed by every little thing he sees. At the side of the lake he spots the gigantic boat of Durmstrang. He stops jogging for a moment and takes in the boat. He sees a small group talking on the deck and they are laughing loud about something they said. Conall smiles when he sees them and then runs further.

He runs away from the lake and he is now at the side of the forest. He looks inside of it, wondering how this forest will be. He knows he will be bringing a lot of time in it and he sighs. He isn't looking forward at all for changing at a new place, the last time that happened he hurt himself badly and he had to stay in the medical wing for a week. He takes a deep breath and takes a few steps towards the forest.

"Hey hey hey! Stop!" Someone yells after him and he turns around confused. Why does he need to stop?

"What?" Conall says confused.

"What are you planning to do? You know you aren't allowed to get in there right?" The woman says worried.

"Not allowed? It's just a forest right? Why shouldn't we get in there?" Conall still has not idea where she is talking about.

The woman then starts to laugh and she shakes her head "haven't you listened to what professor Murray said last night? This is the forbidden forest little boy, no one is allowed to get in."

Conall thinks back at yesterday. Professor Murray did come in to explain a few things, the usual talk about feeling at home, what we are allowed to do and what not and some other things. Conall didn't really listen because he thought it would all be the same at Beauxbatons, but clearly it wasn't.

"I'm sorry, but I think I missed that part. So I'm not allowed to get in?" Conall says sadly, he was really looking forward to explore this forest. He loves the forest since he was a little boy. Always playing in the forest with Faolán, exploring everything, looking for creatures and just loving the nature.

"Nope, you're not allowed otherwise it wouldn't be called the forbidden forest." She winks at him and he smiles a bit. Bella starts to run to her and jumps up. The woman starts to stroke Bella and scratches a bit, right on the good spot because Bella immediately goes to the ground and enjoys it. It took Conall and Faolán a year to discover that place. Conall looks amazed at how she is treating Bella. He never saw someone doing these things before with an animal.

"That was amazing, how did you that?" Conall says amazed.

"Do what?" She says, not realising what she is actually doing.

"The thing with Bella, making her so calm immediately. She is always really busy when she is around with people, and she definitely never shows her belly to someone." Conall says, looking at her scratiching Bella's belly.

She starts to chuckle "oh that, well I'm kind of in love with animals and creatures. I always loved them more than people. Who are you boy?" She says interesting.

"I'm Conall Wolf." Conall says, still a bit in shock of what he just witnessed.

"Ashley Diggory, professor care of magical creatures. Pleasure to meet you." Professor Diggory says kind.

"Pleasure to meet you to professor Diggory." Conall says with a smiles. Professor Diggory smiles back. She than stops scratching Bella and Bella runs happily to Conall.

"Have a nice day Conall, and remember don't go in the forest." She says. Conall nods, then makes a sign to Bella to follow him and they run further.

Conall enters the carriage again and it looks like everyone is awake. Madame Baudelaire looks a bit stressed and when she sees Conall entering she walks up to him.

"Where have you been monsieur Conall Wolf! Oh I don't even wanna know, never leave without saying anything okay!" Madame Baudelaire says hysterically. Conall looks in shock at her and he sees Thierry standing behind he. He raises his should and Conall swallows. Then he turns to Madame Baudelaire.

"Madame Baudelaire? Is everything fine?" Conall says worried.

"Yes I'm totally fine monsieur Wolf." She says but still really stressed.

"I don't think so Madame Baudelaire, you look really stressed. Why won't you just relax a bit? There is nothing to worry about." Conall says calmly, trying to help her. Madame Baudelaire isn't the same as she was before. She always was so calm and chill. And right now she is just stern and stressed. Madame Baudelaire takes a deep breath.

"Maybe you are right monsieur Wolf. I'm sorry, I just don't wanna ruin this."

"But you are not. It's just that you are overworried. Let people do their own thing. Why should everyone gather at the same time? That's just creepy. It's not that someone is planning weird stuf or that they wanna sneak out, and if they wanna do that what's the problem? We are old enough to care for ourself." Conall says kind. Madame Baudelaire nods and sits down defeated in a chair.

"You're right, you're right. I need to let you guys go...-" Madame Baudelaire says. She sighs. "-just do whatever you guys wanna do, if you are following the rules of course."

"Thanks Madame Baudelaire, and we will." Conall says happily and than he walks to the others.
