"Nothing..." Conall says disappointed.
"What!?" Everyone says in choir.
"How do you mean nothing?" Faolán continues.
"Look, it has nothing on it. It is just an empty piece of parchment... I thought this would be the biggest and most important clue, but it is just a waste." Conall says and he gives the empty piece of paper defeated to Faolán. Faolán reads it through and he sighs.
"How is that even possible?"
"I don't know..." Conall says and he sits down.
"Oh come on guys! We still have four other hints! Don't get defeated because one parchment doesn't have anything on it. We still have these four, blatching, scream, centaur and this weird symbol." Thierry says, trying to cheer him up. Thierry is right Conall thinks. He shouldn't be so defeated if only one thing isn't working.
"Okay so what can these four things mean?" Conall asks.
"Well, if we have to trust Thierry on his quidditch knowledge, which I do with my life to be honest.-" Roselyn begins and she gives a smile to Thierry, and Thierry smiles back. "-Then blatching is connected with quidditch, so we have to use this one as the quidditch one. That can mean flying, or rules or the game or anything."
"Yes, and centaur means half human half horse... I actually don't really know what the centaur is doing here." Faolán says, first really existed and then a bit questionable.
"Or how it is connected with the other things..." Conall continues.
"Okay wait hold up guys. Scream is pretty fast forward, you can't really make something else of screaming. And blatching is quidditch. But we don't know yet what centaur can mean and this symbol." Thierry says.
"We can maybe ask professor Diggory for help. What if there is some secret information about centaurs that only a few people know. That is not standing in the books." Conall says, he feels that there is something about centaurs that will connect everything. He feels it through his veins, and he knows that Ashley knows more than anyone else about creatures.
"Okay and how are you going to do that? We can't just walk up to her and ask her 'hey do you know some secret information about centaurs, which we need for the tournament. Besides did you know that I am not allowed to get help?" Faolán says on a sarcastic tune.
"Faolán is right. We can't just walk up to her and ask for this. If it is true that we need secret information about centaurs, then she will know about it. People would have informed her about the task, or even asked her for information themselves. I once read that there isn't any person alive that knows more about creatures than professor Diggory. They should have gone to her to ask for information." Roselyn says.
"Well, then I will ask one of you guys to ask it for me?" Conall says.
"Conall don't be so ridiculous, she knows that we are friends, she will know that you came to us for help. She isn't stupid." Faolán says.
Conall sighs and leans back. Who can go to her without making it obvious. Conall looks around and he sees Brigitte and Léonie whispering in a distance. When he looks at them he sees that Brigitte is looking up at him and Conall gets an idea.
"I have a plan, hear me out..." Conall says.
"You want me to do what?!" Brigitte says. Conall waited for after diner to tell her his plan. They are now standing right outside the castle, a bit out of sight of the other people that are walking outside the castle.
"Brigitte I really need your help. You have to go to professor Diggory and ask for some information about centaurs." Conall says
"What, Conall you are not making any sense. Why on earth should I do that? it is ridiculous" Brigitte says a bit frustrated.
