15) Champions life

Conall is again the first one to wake up. He gets out of bed quietly, he takes Bella with him outside and then he starts to walk a bit with her. He also brought a book about magical creatures with him which he is reading. He already started preparing for the tournament, and every spare time he could find he actually needs to spend on it. They also made a scheme for when he needs to do what. One day a week is with Faolán and everything about nature, two days for condition, and two days with Roselyn working on the spells. Of course he still has enough time to work on school and to be together with Katsumi, at least he hopes he has enough time left.

While he is walking on the grounds he comes across a part about Phoenixes. He sees that these creatures are really special, and maybe they can make a tasks out of it. With his quill he makes a small note in the book, so that he and Faolán knows they have to put extra attention to this creature. And that is how Conall goes through this book. He flips quick through creatures that are boring, and he pays extra attention to the ones that are really interesting.

When Conall is done with the amount of pages he wanted to study, he puts the book away, and he starts to jog. Thierry advised that he needs to practise his endurance as much as possible, at the moments when he needs to walk with Bella are the perfect moments to practice his endurance. Bella likes it as well to run around, so that is a win win. These are just some simple things he can do on his own, and the big things like flying, swimming and advanced exercises he does together with Thierry.

After an hour of reading and running he turns back at the carriage and he enters it again, covered in sweat. He joins the cabin and he sees Roselyn and Faolán are sitting next to each other, being really close. When Conall enters they get a bit more away from each other and Conall starts to laugh.

"No need to be embarrassed for me guys, just continue. I will be gone before you know it.-" Conall says. He quickly puts on some new clothes. "-Where is Thier?"

"Where do you think?" Faolán asks

"With Maddy of course. Well I will be heading to the castle to get some breakfast, I am starving." Conall says. The two of them nod in agreement and Conall runs out again. Conall now has a new intention of jogging everything when he is outside and alone, so that is what he is doing right now.

Conall enters the Great Hal and he sees Thierry sitting in the distance with Maddy. They are laughing about something and Conall immediately gets a smile on his face. He is so happy for Thierry that he has found his love. Then Conalls look is going over the others and he spots Katsumi sitting with someone else. He gets an even bigger smile and he walks up to them. He sits down in front of Katsumi and he smiles bright at him.

"Hello Kitkat." Conall says. He chuckles when he is using the old nickname again for Katsumi. In the first years of their friendship he always called him Kitkat, until the moment when he got bothered with the name, so he got back with Kat.

"Hey Conall, you are happy. What's up?" Katsumi says. Conall sees that his smile got bigger as well when he saw Conall and Conall immediately gets this weird feeling again in his stomach.

"Oh just had a good morning. Practising a lot for the tournament. It gives you a really good feeling when you start your day active. I recommend it to you.-" Conall says, then he turns to the girl sitting next to Katsumi. "-And who are you milady?"

The girl chuckles a bit and then puts her hand out. "I am Nina."

"Conall Wolf, the better half of the twin." Conall says jokily and he shakes her hand. He always introduces himself like that, and he can't stop with it.

"Nice to meet you Conall." Nina says, still chuckling.

"You must be Katsumi's best friend. I have heard a lot of stories about you." Conall says with a smile and he sees that Katsumi is getting a bit red.
