Everyone was gathering in the courtyard of all the schools. Everyone who made friends of different schools said goodbye. Conall stands away from anyone else. Sometimes people came by to say good luck and goodbye. Conall spots Dean getting pushed to the boat of Durmstrang by Petrov who looks furious. Conall immediately went to professor Murray after he heard the full story. She told this to Robin Leavy and Petrov. Petrov was furious and Dean wasn't allowed to get out of the boat. Apparently he sneaked out to say goodbye to some people, but he got caught and now he walks away with his head low.

Conall sighs deep and he looks over the lake. He sees that the carriage is ready, and their winged horses are already waiting in front of them. Conall tightens his arms around him, this might be his worse goodbye ever. Even though he is sure that he will be back soon enough. He really feels that this is the end of school, and he doesn't want to miss everyone.

"Hey champion, why so alone? Aren't you supposed to be with Katsumi?" Ashley asks. She was now standing besides him and she looked over at him.

"He is together with Yasumi, I will see him later I think." Conall says. He doesn't want to say goodbye to him. He remembers the last time so good, the day that his first year ended. Their paths ended there, not knowing how they will continue. It broke his heart.

"Well I wanted to say goodbye to you. I had a lot of fun with you this year, and you helped me a lot. Thanks Conall, I am gonna miss you." Ashley says and she looks at Conall. Conall looks back at her now and he smiles weak.

"No problem, and thanks for learning me so much this year. It was truly amazing." Conall says, and then he remembers something. "I was wondering. When I won the tournament, and we were celebrating in the Great Hall... I saw that you walked away, why?"

Ashley sighs deeply and then looks down. "I think you probably know the whole story of Harry Potter, have you heard of Cedric Diggory?"

"Yes, and of course I have heard of Cedric Diggory. Who hasn't?" Conall asks, and only know he is realising it. Ashley Diggory, how stupid could he be for not making the link that they might be related.

"Well, my grandfather was his brother. Not a lot of people knew about him, because Cedric was always the popular big guy. Definitely after Cedric his death, almost everyone forgot about our family. As if the family died together with Cedric. Cedric is a big person in our family, someone where everyone is proud of. There hasn't past a day that I do not think about him, and of what he would have become. The Last Task was just a difficult thing for me... since well you know. And he was the winner as well of the tournament, so I wanted to take my time." Ashley says without hesitation. She really wanted to talk about this subject.

"Oh... I am sorry for you. I can't imagine that something so happy, can be sad." Conall says and he looks down. It must be horrible for her.

"It doesn't matter, you were to busy with other things. And it isn't something to worry about. I learned to accept everything, and I am fine with it." Ashley says and she lightens up a bit. "And now you need to go to Katsumi, otherwise you will regret it."

Conall nods to her and then walks back in the crowd. He sees that most of the people are still talking happily, and sharing addresses. Conall spots Katsumi in the distance and he walks towards him. When Katsumi spots him he breaks through the crowd and he runs into Conall his arms. His face is filled with tears and Conall hugs him tight. The face of Katsumi brought him back to reality, and he breaks down. He starts to cry as well.

"All Durmstrang students follow me!" Petrov says and Conall looks up, this means that he has to go any moment as well. He looks at Katsumi and he bites his lip.

"We will see each other soon okay? I will be sure of that." Conall says to Katsumi and he wipes away his tears. Katsumi hugs him again, and he doesn't want to let loose. When Conall looks around him, he sees madame Baudelaire watching to him, with a face that she is about to go but she will wait a little longer for him. Others are all watching to them now. Everyone already said goodbye, and they are they only ones left.
